New Neighbor (Boy x Girl)

"I'm picking my room this time!" My little brother snickered at me as he took a box of his items and ran up the wooden steps of our house.

I scoffed and shook my head before turning to my mom, "Ma-"

"Xavier Y/L/N get down here right now we know how this goes. You can get the bigger room once your brother moves out and that's like in a year or so patience please." My mom said and gave me a couple boxes before patting my butt.

"Go on I'm not unpacking all this by myself." She said and I walked into the house but not before making eye contact with one of the prettiest girls I've seen.

"Damn." I mumbled before walking into the new house we had in Miami.

My father had gotten a new job in Miami and was relocated so we moved down here from Washington. It was the completely different compared to Washington because for one it wasn't really raining. It was hot and humid and I was already dying to take some sort of shower.

After unpacking my room halfway it was already nine at night and even though I felt like a total grandpa I stripped down to my briefs ready for bed. I sighed as I turned off my light - this damn place literally had no curtains or blinds. Well not in my room at least. When I turned off my light I glanced at the house next to ours and saw the gorgeous girl goofily dancing with what I assumed was her little sister.

I chuckled at the sight and laid down on my mattress thinking of the cute girl next door before falling asleep with her on my mind.

*Two weeks later*

"You have Mrs. Rodgers English paper? I finished it last minute." Calum Hood, my friend asked me as he sat beside me but I just shook my head.

"I didn't really do it I mean honestly there was no point. What kind of writing assignment is "what does your room look like?" It's a bit invasive and creepy." I shrugged my shoulders before rolling up my red plaid shirt sleeves.

"You like look into things way deeper than usual." He said with a blank face and I chuckled shrugging.

"Would you want Mrs. Rodgers to know what your room looks like?" I asked him leaning towards him with a smirk.

"So she could imagine you two together in your Spider-Man twin bed." I mumbled and he grimaced noticeably and for extra measure I thrusted my hips.

"I bet you like old women huh? English love affair, yeah?" I wiggled my eyebrows teasingly and he pushed me into my desk.

"That's nasty." He mumbled with a grimace and I laughed loudly causing a few students to look at me.

"Hello fellow demons." I waved to the group who looked at me and I caught my next door neighbors giggle.

She played with her pencil and bit her lip as she looked my way then smiled her gorgeous smile. I gave her a small smile before looking at my worksheet for maths.

"So you and Camila hm?" He smirked and I frowned in confusion.

"There's literally nothing going on with us." I chuckled clicking my pen twice, "We've spoken like three times."
