A/N: I'm back from Disney, so here's another update. Oh, and no, I did not get a picture with the First Order :(

Anakin opened your bathroom door to reveal Rex, standing there with a fear stricken face. You peered over Anakin's shoulder, happy to see Rex was fully armored, minus his helmet.

"Care to explain what you're doing here?" Anakin asked Rex, holding his second pistol in the air.

"Uh, it's not what it looks like, sir, we were-"

"We were discussing the happenings of Umbara," you cut him off, trying to cover up the truth.

Anakin leaned against the wall, "You think I'm that dumb?", he laughed, glancing at your bed, "You're a Jedi (Y/N), I'm surprised with you." He started tossing a charge in his hand playfully and smirked.

"What are you talking about," you questioned with confusion, looking at Rex then Anakin, then back at Rex. Anakin picked up on your eyes wandering back to Rex.

Anakin laughed as he handed Rex his pistol and began to walk towards the room for your quarters, "Our conversation will continue later (Y/N), but I congratulate you two on the consummation of your relationship."

Both your's and Rex's faces turned bright red. "Anakin!" you gasped before he could leave.

"Somethings are just all too obvious," he smirked, leaving your room. You took a deep breath as he exited, giving a nervous look to Rex.

"How did he figure that out?" he asked, sitting down on your bed.

"I honestly couldn't tell you," you replied, standing in between his legs. He pulled himself into you, forcing your arms to cradle his head against your stomach. His armor dug into your thigh causing discomfort, but you didn't bother to tell him. The two of you didn't have much longer together before the war would keep you from each other's company.

"All I wish is for us to not be separated by the war, for us to live together, freely," you sigh, resting your head on his.

His fingers ran through your hair, twirling it around his index finger, "I concur it hurts, but it's a painful sacrifice I'd be willing to make any day for you," he mumbled against your stomach. His grip on you tightened as he pulled you down on the bed with him.

As he pulled you down, your collar bone stuck his shoulder pauldron, causing you to wince in pain, "Rex," you dragged his name out.

"What's wrong mesh'la," he asked in a hush tone, caressing your cheek.

"Your armor, it hurts,"   you whined, rolling off him. Rex's eyes looked away in disappointment ,"No, no, it's not your fault love," you tried to explain to him.

Rex looked at the ceiling and sighed, "When this was is over, can we run away together?"

His comment shocked you. He seemed like the kind of soldier who was exceptionally loyal to the Republic, never one to even mention running away. His tone showed no signs of joking, he was being serious.

"Why wait until its over?" you whispered, turning your head to face him.

His focus was still on the ceiling as he smiled, "Oh mesh'la. Meh shi ni ru'lis eyaytir ibic haran ti ner kandosii'la jetiise, ner oyu'baat ru'kel cuyir an ni ganar vurel copikla," he finished, kissing your temple.

You shot him a glare, "You expect me to know what that means?".

A small laugh escaped his lips, "No, but I expect you to ask." You looked at him and smiled before he continued, "If only I could flee this hell with my stunning Jedi, my universe would be all I have ever desired."

His poetic words left you speechless. There was no way to combine words to compare to his. He was your world and you weren't going to let a war change that.

"How was he?" you asked Wolffe, smiling at your padawan.

"He is actually extremely knowledgeable about the Cruisers. He knew a lot before I could even show him!" Wolffe exclaimed, patting Kody on the back, "He's a perfect for you, General."

"Thank you Commander," you nodded as Kody went to your side, "I'm going to introduce him to the legion. Thank you again for showing him around the past few days!"

"Anything for.." Wolffe began to say, "for a brother," he winked.

You rolled your eyes as your left with Kody. How did Wolffe know? Anakin probably. You shrugged it off and continued to main hangar where you assumed the 501st was.

"You ready for your first mission?" you asked Kody.

His face lit up upon your words, "I'm going on a mission!? Really Master?!"

The excitement within the young boy filled you with joy, "Yes, I believe the next mission will be stealth on Coruscant, so I feel safe talking you. It's perfect for a first mission!"

"Thank you Master! I won't let you down! I promise!" he cheered, almost crying tears of joy.

"Hey hey hey! Try to relax. It's not as fun as you may think. The clones are more entertaining than the mission," you laughed.

His excitement faded, "Really?"

"I hate to break it to you kid, but yep," you confessed, as the door to the hangar opened. He followed you in but kept asking questions.

"So missions aren't fun?"

"Not all missions," you mumble, thinking about Umbara and how terrible it was for Rex, "not all." Before Kody could say anything, you both greeted by Rex.

"Hello General (Y/LN), who is this?" he asked, turning to his head towards Kody, trying to sound as casual as possible.

"This is Kody, my new padawan," you replied then pointed to the rest of the men, introducing them all to Kody.

"It's nice to meet you Kody. I hope we don't get you confused with Cody the Commander!" Rex laughed, taking his helmet off. You couldn't help but blush slightly upon seeing the small smile that was on his face.

"General," he said, snapping you back into your General self, "What is our next mission."

"Coruscant. We have a spy mission nu-" you caught your self before you could use his nickname, "New. It's a new mission," you awkwardly finished.

Rex clenched his jaw and winced as you tried to finish your sentence. You inhaled heavily as you awaited the next words from someone, anyone. The silence only grew as the men gave each other confused looks. Realizing the silence wouldn't end, you decided to be the one to end it.

"So who's ready for Coruscant!" you clapped as you began to walk to the closest gunship, trying to diminish any tensions. A few groans came from the men as they all piled in after you. Kody, on the other hand, was still ecstatic about the mission. As much as you tried not to think it, a padawan was the last thing you wanted and for a split second, you understood your father.
