"Alright, we wouldn't want to be cornered again, so let's split into two's for the night," Anakin requested. We were all standing outside a mountain cliff that was covered in caves. 

"Sounds great general! As long as I get the lady," Hardcase slurred.  

"Hardcase!" Rex scolded. Both you and Anakin gave Hardcase a look. 

"Were you drinking before battle again?" Jesse laughed. Hardcase rolled his eyes. 

Anakin started pairing people for the night, "(Y/N) you're with Rex and Fives, you're with me," Anakin finished. 

"We'll meet out here at sunrise tomorrow, if any of you hear or see anything, contact me or General Skywalker immediately," You commanded the clones. 

"Sir, yes sir!" They all chanted at once. "At ease," you nodded, letting the clones split off. 

"Anakin, I don't get it," you said to your friend. 

"What's wrong, fireball," He replied, sitting on a rock outside your cave. 

"These clones, they're dropping like flies, it's so sad. Every day these poor men lose dozens of their "brothers" every day, it's not like they-" 

"(Y/N)," Anakin cut you off, "Get some rest, this should not be your concern, goodnight." He walked off to his cave. You sighed and walked to yours.

As you walked in, you saw a heat lantern lit and smiled. You were so happy you were going to be warm. You walked in deeper and you saw Rex taking is armor off. He turned around and make eye contact with you. "Oh my gosh! I am so sorry," You turned around embarrassed, your face turning bright red. You felt a warm hand grab your shoulder and turn you around. 

"Sir, what is wrong?" Rex asked, obviously confused. 

"I walked in on you changing! I am so sorry!" You got redder. 

He laughed, "General, it's not a big deal, I'm still wearing my blacks!" 

"Alright if you say so," you mumbled, "but hey! what did I tell you? You can call me (Y/N)." 

"Sorry, Si-(Y/N), I forgot," He stuttered. 

"It's fine, Rex!" You smile and walk to the side of the cave and sit down. Rex finished taking off his armor until he's wearing just his blacks. "So what are those blue marks on your helmet?" 

"Jaig eyes, it's Mandolorian."

"Oh cool," You reply, "so I assume you're into Mandalorian culture?" 

He sits down next to you, "Yes, I am interested enough that I decided to learn the language!" He seemed very excited about it. 

"That's really cool, I am yet to learn Mando'a. Do you speak anything else?" His face got dark, his eyes shut. "What's wrong?" you asked, tilting your head. 

"Can you keep a secret?" He looked at you with the most serious eyes ever. 

You put your hand on his knee, "Of course, Rex." He smiled the slightest bit, then went back to a poker face. He looked right into your eyes. That's when you noticed how lovely his eye color was, a vivid shade of golden brown, it made you melt a bit. Before he could speak, that odd force feeling came back. You collapsed your head into your knees. 

"(Y/N)! What's wrong?!" Rex looked very concerned. 

"It's nothing Rex, it's a Jedi thing. The force. It's been giving me weird feelings ever since I was assigned to the 501st, but continue, tell me what you wanted to tell me."
