Garnet ran over to the basketball court and started bouncing the ball. "Anyone up for a game?" "Last time we played a game you destroyed us." Pearl said sitting down on the bleachers with Opal. "I bet she can't beat me." Morganite said getting on the court. "A challenger?" Garnet Said bouncing the ball between her legs and around her. "This challenger will be the champ." Morganite said laughing​. "Bring it." Garnet ran up to her and started bouncing the ball around her quickly. "Think you can keep up with me?" Garnet faked Morganite out making her fall over and made a shot. "Ooohhh!!! In your face!" Garnet said helping her up. "Just a warm up." Morganite said smiling at her. "Alright come on." Garnet said giving Morganite the ball. Morganite started bouncing the ball and stared at Garnet. "Come on Garnet think you can keep up with me?" She started bouncing faster and faster then started to move around. "Oh, what?" Garnet said chasing after her. "You can't get past this defense!" Garnet said blocking Morganite. "Oh I can't, huh?" Morganite picked Garnet up with one hand and threw Garnet on her shoulder. She ran towards the basketball goal and made a shot. "No fair!" Garnet said laughing. "Everything's fair in this game Sweetheart." Garnets laughing died down a Bit. "Don't..Call me that." She said chuckling a bit as she walked past her. "Im sorry I didn't mean to offend ya." "No, its fine." Garnet said looking back with a smile. "Did you two have fun?" Opal said to Morganite as she walked up to them. "Yea, you should have played." "no, I didn't want to spoil your fun." "Seriously?" "I'm so serious." "Now what are you acting like that for?" "I'm not stupid Morganite." "No one said you were." Garnet and Pearl watched as Morganite grabbed Opals arm and pulled her away from them. "Pearl.." "Don't worry, Opal holds her own if she tries something." "Why does Opal decide to stay with her anyway? She clearly sees that she's nothing but a huge flirt." "I don't know Garnet." Garnet shook her head and quickly looked up when she heard the two yelling loudly. "You can just leave then!!" She heard Opal yell out loud sternly. They watched as Morganite followed after her and put their guard up a bit. "You're my only way home!" Morganite said walking up to her. "You aren't getting in my car." She said crossing her arms. "Can you stop being childish for one second!?" "I'm not being childish! You're the one going around trying to flirt with everyone you see!" Garnet and Pearl looked at Opal and saw the rage in her eyes. "Who knows by now you've probably already cheated on me! So like I said before you aren't getting in my car!" "Then how do you expect me to get home Opal?" "Find a way." Opal walked off toward her car and sat in it waiting for Pearl. "If you're going to take her home don't fall for anything ok Garnet?" "I won't trust me." Pearl looked at Morganite as she headed toward the car and signaled Opal to Start the car. "Come on Morganite." Garnet said getting her keys. "Thank you." Morganite said walking next to Garnet. "If you don't want to stay with Opal then why go through all this trouble?" "I'd rather not talk about it." Morganite said getting in the mustang. "I'm serious Morganite." "I am too." "You flirt with everyone you see?" "No...look, why won't you just drive and we can talk about this?" "I don't like arguing while driving." "Look you're pretty, beautiful to be exact and me and Opal we're apparently supposed to have a break for a while. If she can go on and flirt then so can I you see where I'm coming from?" "No, I've never been all into relationships like that." Garnet said starting the car. "Then there's no point..." Morganite said sighing in frustration. "Morganite you can't just treat people badly just because you want to be free or something that's...not right." "If you were to date either me, Pearl, or Opal who would you choose?" "And what makes you think I'm going to choose either?" "Come on Garnet." "Opal." Garnet said with a small smile. "Why?" "What is this twenty one questions?" "Garnet." "Fine, I chose Opal because she's smart, funny, caring, honest, trustworthy, and beautiful. I kind of love the way she flips her hair when she's frustrated and how she lightly bites her lip when she's getting sad." Morganite sat back in the seat and laughed. "Honest and trustworthy?? Come on Garnet be serious." "I am being serious Morganite." "How come I never see those things then?" "Probably because you don't pay attention to her personality all you care about is her beauty. Trust me you're making a mistake letting her go." Garnet looked up at Morganite and watched as she grabbed her face. "Let's just go." Garnet pulled out of the parks parking lot and waited on Morganite to give her directions. "Take a right then keep straight for a mile or so." Garnet turned right and sped off a bit. "You have no need to be so down Morganite." "Sure." "I'm serious, maybe if you stop looking at people's looks and get to know them you would probably find someone who would love you for you. I know there's more to you than this." "Your turn is coming up." Garnet looked at Morganite and gripped the steering wheel tightly. "Are you listening to me?" "Yes, turn left now." Garnet turned left quickly making her hit her head on the window. "Ow!" "Talk to me." "Ok, ok, jeez.." "Thank you." "I just don't see how you can not just go for looks Garnet, that's kind of important." "No it isn't. Say if you go with someone thats really pretty and they have the worst personality ever what are you going to do?" "Deal with it." "Thats ridiculous!" "My house is on the right, its baby blue." "Morganite im serious about this." Garnet turned in her driveway and watched as she opened the car door. "Look, the only person I saw that was beautiful and has and awesome personality is you." Garnet went to say something but got cut off when Morganite leaned in and kissed her. She quickly pushed Morganite away from her and looked at her in shock. "Sorry if it seemed to fast." Morganite said getting out of the car. "I can't believe she just did that." Garnet said watching her go in the house. "She did!" Garnet pulled off and headed home. "She heard her phone ring and answered it. "Hello?" "Are you alright?" "Yea, I'm fine why?" "Opal was really worried about you." "Yea, no I'm fine." "Thats good. Did Morganite try anything?" "Well she kissed me and thats about it." "Why did she do that??" "I was fussing at her about just looking at looks and she up and kissed me." "Opal would have a fit over that!" "Then don't tell her Pearl, I don't want anything happening." "Alright I won't..but she just might find out on her own." "You're right about that, she's pretty good." "Is she ok Pearl??" "Guess I better go." Garnet said hanging up. "Now I have to bleach my lips." She said turning in her driveway.
