"Lapis!" Lapis lifted her head off of the desk and watched as Peridot stood in front of her with a green envelope and blue writing on it. "What Peridot?" Peridot set the envelope on her desk then returned to her seat stiffly. "Seriously?" She read the writing on it then set her face on a non caring setting. 'For Lapis my crush~' "Well at least she's straight forward with it." Lapis opened the envelope and read the pink paper inside it.

'I know that I probably annoy you to the max but I just wanted you to know that I have the biggest crush on you and I think that you're really really beautiful!! I uh might be weird and nerdy but that shouldn't stop you from at least trying!'

Lapis looked up at Peridot then watched as Garnet entered the room. "Hey Garnet!" Lapis said excited. "What's up?" "Nothing much I just got a love letter from yours truly." "Peridot?" "Who else?" Garnet laughed a bit and sat down in her seat. "Try it." "What? Garnet no way." "What's the harm?" "I don't wanna you know...I don't...I wanna wait." "Is the person your waiting for worth it?" lapis blushed heavily and coughed a bit. "To me yea..." "I wanna know so many details about this special person." Garnet said nudging Lapis a bit. "Quit joking around Garnet." Lapis said nervously chuckling. "Are you busy by any chance tomorrow Lapis?" Garnet asked getting her books and stuff ready for class to start. "No! i'm completely free tomorrow is there something you wanted to do?" "Yea just have some fun you know?" "Sure." Lapis said smiling a bit. "What about the project?" Pearl said interrupting their gaze at each other. "Oh crap I forgot to practice the lyrics!" Lapis said putting her head on the desk. "Well I forgot to practice my guitar plenty of times but I'm sure you'll get it." Garnet said messing with her blue hair. She groaned making Peridot get out of her seat and walk over to them. "I have finished practicing my piano and I am all set to practice at your house Garnet." Garnet looked at Peridot and adjusted her shades a bit. "Looks like you get all the practice you need tonight Lapis." "We only have one more daayyyy." Lapis said still groaning. "But we'll get it all done in a night. Pearl." "Here I have the lyrics right here in case you forgot yours." Pearl put the lyrics on Lapis' desk and smiled. "I actually already gave Lapis a copy before you had your chance to so here you can take this back." Peridot said handing Pearl her papers. "Oh really?" "Yes really, I watched her put it in her bag." Pearl mumbled to herself and got up as the bell rung out. "Up and at em Lapis its time to go to your art class." Garnet said standing up next to her. "Noooooo.." Garnet picked Lapis up and carried her out of the classroom walking down the hallway. "I-ill get her bag!" Peridot said running behind her. "All right ma'am here's your stop!" Garnet said putting Lapis down next to the classroom door. "Thank you Garnet." Lapis said leaning on the wall. Garnet smiled and put her hand next to her head. "Can't just let you be late." Lapis blushed as she leaned in close. "Here's your bag Lapis!" Peridot said putting the bag in between them. "Oh...uh...thanks." Lapis said grabbing her bag from Peridot. "I better get going." Garnet said walking away. "Thanks again Garnet!" Lapis yelled as she waved back at her. "I didn't mean to interrupt anything." Lapis rolled her eyes at Peridot and stomped in the classroom. "Don't be mad Lapis! I said I was sorry." "Its fine." Lapis said ignoring her. "Well it doesn't seem like its okay." "I said it was fine Peridot leave me alone." Peridot smiled and sat up straight in her seat. "Okay, good." Lapis put her head down and smiled a bit as she thought about Garnet. "Argh she's so cute and she knows it!" Lapis said to herself quietly. "Head up Lapis, you're one of my best drawers and I need you up and operational." Lapis put her head up still smiling a bit. "Yes ma'am." "Alright today we're going to do someone you love, like your mother or father. You know someone really close to you." "When are we like officially starting?" "Now." Lapis got up almost immediately and picked up her big piece of white paper along with her specific colors. "Later on I'm going to ask who you chose and why you chose them." "Who are you gonna choose Lapis?" "Garnet." Lapis said still smiling. Peridot felt a bit of jealousy rise up in her chest and still stood there. "why Garnet?" "Because she's quirky, fun and energetic. I mean that's all you really need to know." "But how could you possibly like her?" Peridot chuckled as she crossed her arms. "She's just another beef headed jock that'll just go around breaking hearts. I know their games and I refuse to play it with them." "Garnet isn't a beef headed jock! She's way more than that!" Lapis heard yelling in the hallway and looked looked at the door and saw two people fighting out there. "Hey, quit it!!" She heard Garnet and ran out of the room looking into the hallway watching as Garnet tried to stop two girls from fighting. "What's going on!?" The teacher said running out from behind Lapis. "It's a stupid basketball fight." Garnet said pushing one of the girls back. "I said quit it!!" The two stopped and looked at Garnet slightly angry. "I told you that it was a fair competition between you two to be a replacement for me, for a captain position! I see now that neither of you deserve the spot because apparently you don't know what fair competition is." Garnet crossed her arms and watched as the two walked past her and back to the gym. "I'm sorry for interrupting your class Ms. T." Garnet said sighing a bit. "It's okay, since you got them to stop before I got a chance to say anything I guess I can ignore the write ups." "Thank you so much." Garnet winked at Lapis and walked away back to the gym. "Back in class Lazuli." She said heading back in the classroom. "Told you so." Peridot said shaking her head. "You're just jealous because you aren't anyone's captain of any teams and you aren't near as athletic as you want to be." Peridot scrunched her face up a bit and went back to her seat. "That's not true." "Then stop acting like your a jealous child." "Alright you two get started." Ms. T said tapping on Peridots desk. "Yes ma'am." Lapis said starting on her artwork. Peridot looked at the paper on her desk and started at the words on it. 'I have a confession to make to you..' she turned it over with a sigh and started on her drawing.
