Garnet shook her empty bottle and sighed a bit. "I'm out." "And you're still up? You're the best drinker I've seen all night." Garnet stood up and smiled at Lapis as she waved at her. "I'll see you later, I gotta find Opal." "See you at school." Lapis said as she walked away. Garnet looked around for Opal and started asking around for her. "She was upstairs last time I saw her." "Thanks." Garnet headed up the stairs and looked inside of the empty rooms. "Is that coke?" "Come on and try it, you already took like three pills." "They were nothing." "They'll catch up." Garnet cleared her throat and saw Opal sitting next to Morganite on the bed with a tray and white stuff lined up. "Garnet?" Garnet walked over to Morganite and slapped the tray out of her hands. "Are you kidding me!?" Garnet grabbed Morganite and slammed her against the wall. "Garnet!" "You're sitting here giving her Things to take?" She can handle it." "And what if she can't? Then what the hell are you going to do?" "Garnet come on put her down!" "Listen I just came up here to help her and then she asked if I had anything on me." "I don't think you understand Morganite I will kill you if you do anything to hurt Opal or Pearl!" "I didn't-"Garnet threw her on the ground and looked at Opal angrily. "Garnet wait." Garnet left out of the room and walked down stairs ignoring Opals call. "Garnet please!" Garnet looked back and clenched her fist. "Come back!" Garnet went back to the couch that Lapis was sitting on and asked for another bottle. "What's wrong?" "Opal-" "Garnet!" Garnet looked at Opal and sighed. "I wasn't doing anything with her other than you know...drugs." "I don't care, I told you I didn't want you near her because of what she can do to you." "I'm sorry I was just thanking her because she helped me when I got bumrushed up the stairs." "I'm sorry for not helping." "Garnet." "I'm just saying sorry Opal just know I'm not helping when the pills kick in." "what if its bad?" Lapis said nudging Garnet. "Then I'll step in." Garnet said kind of cold. "You can't seriously be angry at me about this." "I can and I will." "But why?" "Because you promised me you wouldn't do anything to harm your body or be close to Morganite! We talked about this before we left!" "I said I'm sorry." "Sorry can't make time turn back." Garnet said grabbing the bottle someone brought her. "You're going to feel woozy in a bit so sit down." Opal sat down and looked around at the flashing lights. "So what happened Opal?" "I was getting dragged upstairs by some dudes and Morganite came up when she saw me panicking..she told them off and...then gave me some stuff to take." "I feel like you're missing something." Garnet said angrily. "we...might have talked for a bit and....kissed each other." "I knew it!" Garnet said standing up. "Garnet calm down.." Lapis said standing up. "You told me you didn't want her near you! You told me that if she got near you, you would come and find me but instead I ended up finding you doing something you weren't supposed to do!!" Lapis held Garnets shoulders and made her sit down slowly. "Look Garnet I'm sorry." "And then you took drugs from her to make it all better. Do you at least know what it was?" "Not really but-" "Then why the hell would you take them!?" "To get the party started?" "I should-" Garnet slightly bucked up at Opal then withdrew quickly realizing she was showing to much anger. "I'm going outside." Garnet stood up and walked outside of the house with her hands In her pockets. "I would say go talk to her but you pissed her off pretty bad." Lapis said stirring her drink. "what's your name?" "My name? It's Lapis and I would be worried about Garnet more than. who's talking to her you know." Lapis stood up and went after Garnet leaving Opal on the couch. "Hey, Garnet?" "Yea." "You cool now?" "Yea..." Lapis pulled out a cigarette and lit it next to Garnet. "Do you want one?" "No thanks I'll just stick to drinking." "Thats a bad habit." "Says the one smoking." Garnet said slightly smiling. "I can get a bigger one than that." Garnet sighed and shook her head. "Not this time.." Garnet heard sirens and looked down the street. "Someone called the police?" Garnet reached in her pocket and gave Lapis her car keys. "Go and take Pearl and Opal home, please." Lapis ran inside and got Pearl and Opal. "We have to go the police are coming!" The three quickly left the house and got in Garnets car. "Here let me drive." Opal said reaching for the keys. "No way not after what you took, you aren't even asking the right person I have the keys not Pearl." Lapis started the car and watched as Garnet got put in a police car. "Who's going to get Garnet out?" "Probably her mother." "Ms. Sapphire? She's going to be so pissed when she finds out.." "Opal do you have Ms. Sapphires number?" Lapis didn't hear a response and looked over at Opal. "Opal?" She touched her face and sighed in relief. "just out." "I have it." Pearl said giving Lapis her phone. "Hello?" "Yes, Ms. Sapphire I have something to tell you about Garnet." "Who is this? Is she ok?" "She is fine, my name is Lapis Lazuli and I wanted to tell you that she has gotten arrested for being at a house party we went to." "She what!?" "Its ok Ms. Sapphire I can come and pick you up so you can go and see how much her bail is." "Thank you so much Lapis." "No problem." Lapis hung up the phone and gave it back to Pearl. "You sound more like Garnets girlfriend than her actual girlfriend." "Her girlfriend could have done something if she wasn't out cold on drugs." "Its strange because Opal hasn't done drugs In so long...I wonder why she took some now." "I don't want to know..." Lapis said staring at the road. "Let's just get this night over with."
