"I thought you liked Garnet." "Secretly I do, but I can't just express it all like that you know?" "You're all ridiculous.." Pearl said shaking her head at Morganite I got over it why can't you all?" Pearl got off of the couch and passed by Morganite with her arms crossed. "Where are you going?" "To Garnets." Pearl slammed the door behind her. "Well goodbye to you too." Opal said walking down the stairs. "You doing ok?" Morganite said looking at Opal. "No, I feel terrible. I wanted to be with Garnet but...I ended up cracking under pressure that she could've died but didn't.." "I keep telling you that I'm here for you." "But every time you are I always end up getting in trouble! I can't do this anymore Morganite I can't stick around you friend or not." Morganite stood up with anger in her eyes and stood over Opal.     Garnet and Lapis sat on the hood of her car talking to each other peacefully. "I'm sorry kissed you out of nowhere when we first met." "Its ok but, I almost punched your face in." "I would laugh but...thats actually kind of scary." "You should only be scared if you're on my bad side." "It seems easy to get there now." "Usually it isn't...its just after the house party my control kind of slipped out of my hands and crashed down onto the ground..I'm sorry if I've done anything to you, you know?" "the only thing you did really was yell at me and well I guess I deserved that. And by the by I was worried about you not just jealous." "so you were jealous." "Of course I was Jealous especially when I knew that this was gonna kind of happen.." "You knew?" "Well, yea she's been with Morganite for yeaaarrrss I'm sorry but what made you think that she would change for you?" Garnet sat there and thought to herself for a second. "Maybe you're right.." Garnet said smiling a bit. "I'm kind of glad you came along Lapis you're such a good friend!" Garnet nudged Lapis making her slide off the car and tried to grab her before she crashed onto the ground. "Sorry!" Garnet said laughing a bit. Lapis got up laughing and got back on the car. "I can get you a new car if you want.." "How could you do that?" Garnet said not looking at Lapis. "That car was so valuable to me...nothing can replace that." "Let me make a call." Garnet watched as Lapis pulled out her phone and walked away talking to someone. "hey Greg..." Garnet smiled a bit again and looked at the bright stars. "Maybe I should just stay alone for a while Lapis is a cool friend and all but...she's just a friend." Lapis snuck in her car and honked the horn scaring Garnet off of the car. "Ah!!" Garnet said loudly and scared. "Lapis what the hell!?" Garnet got up holding her chest and got in the car breathing kind of hard. "Sorry but I couldn't resist." "what if I died!" "Then I would be really sad, don't think I'd be able to handle that." "That got kind of deep.." "Well I'm just telling you that if you were to die or something I wouldn't be able to handle it I would miss you to much, so much that I'll just start sneaking in your room and sniff all your clothes." Garnet bursted out in laughter when Lapis finished and wiped a tear away. "That's weird Lapis." "You think I'm joking?" Lapis said laughing a bit. Lapis started her car and started backing up out of the woods. "Thanks for helping me Lapis I really appreciate it." "No problem thats what best friends are for." "So, my chances with Opal is over?" "One hundred percent." Lapis said nodding her head. "Single life it is." "Pearl is always an option." Lapis said nudging Garnet. "Nah, I think Pearl would go cute with Amethyst." Lapis looked at Garnet with a confused smile and chuckled. "I didn't even think of that actually." "I mean you can clearly see it now, thats all Pearl asks about." "Who do you think I look cute with?" "Well...I dont know, really haven't seen anyone thats your type but me and we're best friends." "Hmm..." Lapis sat there thinking and smiled again. "What?" "Nothing." "What was the smile for?" "Nothing." Lapis said still laughing. "Aw come on I hate not knowing." "Then you're just gonna have to hate." Lapis said looking at her real fast. "I guess I can let this pass." Garnet looked at her phone and read the text message on it.

'Opal
Garnet. I need your help please...I know you probably don't want to help me but I really need it, I need your patience and your Time again I miss it, I really do and I just wanted to say sorry for my actions and how I handled your accident I guess it was just so sudden that I didn't know how to properly act...Im at your house with Topaz and your Mom...sorry to bother your time with Lapis but I had to get away from Morganite she's...Gone out of control so I left and had no where to really go but your house. Again I'm sorry for intruding but I had to really get away...and plus I really miss you..'

Garnet sighed and started texting her back.

'Where's Pearl?'

She sent it and looked at Lapis. "What?" "I guess I was wrong about your chances, huh?" "....I don't know." "You miss her?" "Yes but then I don't because I'm angry about what happened and what she did." "Well hey I can't stop you from talking to anyone." Lapis saw the uncertainty in Garnets face and hit her shoulder lightly. "stop thinking about it so much Garnet trust me it'll make things worse."

'Opal
She's here too.'

'You let Morganite run you out of your own house? Thats really ridiculous if you ask me.'

'Opal
I didn't let her run me out..'

'then what happened?'

Garnet looked at Lapis and shook her head a bit. "I'm guessing we're going to your house?" Lapis said turning the car around. "sadly." "its not so bad if you think about it at least you have Topaz and Sapphire there." "well yea I guess..."

'Opal
I told her I didn't want anything to do with her and she went crazy. After we fussed and fought a bit I walked out leaving her there alone. Came here with Pearl and told your parents what happened. I'm bruised a bit on my arm but thats about it.'

'You telling me that to fight for you? Because you kind of got yourself into that.'

'Opal
Can you just hurry, please.'

Garnet tossed her phone in her lap and looked at Lapis. "guess we better get going." Lapis nodded her head and stepped on the gas a bit.
