House Party

Garnet woke up and got dressed quietly. "Where are my keys?" She looked at her dresser and grabbed them as she walked out her room. She bumped into Topaz and ignored her smug smiling. "Excuse me." Garnet said walking down the stairs. "Have a good day." Topaz said as Garnet walked out of the door. Garnet got in her car and drove off looking at her phone.

    Garnet smiled brightly and made her way to the school. "It happened so fast..." Garnet pulled up to the school and saw Morganite talking to Pearl. "C'mon Pearl we aren't going to be late because of an unnecessary someone." Garnet glared at Morganite and kept walking. "Why are you talking to Morganite?" "She came out of nowhere and sparked a conversation with me." "And you responded?" "Well..yes." "You know what she's doing right?" "Of course I do." "Pearl." "I know what she's doing Garnet, just because you got with Opal doesnt mean you have some type of full athourity over me." "Pearl, I'm just saying this because I care about your safety." "Well I'm fine." Pearl said looking forward. "I'm sorry to butt In Pearl.." "Its fine Garnet, just know that I can handle myself." "What was she talking about?" "She invited me to a house party." "And you're going?" "I can at least try to go." "You know how hard it is to get in one of Morganites parties?" "Well she personally invited me so I think it'll be pretty easy." "Hey you two." Morganite said walking up behind them. "hey Morganite." Pearl said happily. "Hey, Garnet wanna come to my house party with Opal? It'll be fun I promise." "I guess I can go." Garnet said walking In the classroom. "Now its a party!!" Morganite said waving the two goodbye. "I never would've thought that you would go to any type of parties Pearl." "Doesn't hurt to experience something new." "You know their going to do drugs and drink alcohol right?" "Yes." "Well hey, I'm not gonna stop you..unless you do something ridiculous." "Seems fair." The two sat down and got ready for the class to start. "Hey." Lapis said sitting down next to the two. "Hello Lapis." Pearl said with a small smile. "How is Opal doing Garnet?" "Doing fine actually better after I stayed and helped her breathing." "I'm sorry you have to deal with Topaz." Lapis said leaning in her chair. "its cool she'll leave someday." Garnet said not wanting to speak about her. "How are you all doing on your project?" "Its going good actually." Lapis said pulling out a small stack of papers. "When did you do that?" Pearl said kind of shocked. "When I went home after school." "You sure do work fast." Garnet said smiling at her. "Thank you." Lapis said looking through the papers. "Alright class let's get to talking." Mrs. Emerald said walking back to the front of the class.

Garnet pulled up at Pearls house and got out knocking on the door. "Its open Garnet!" She heard Opal say loudly. Garnet opened the door and closed it behind her. "Hey!" Opal said hugging Garnet tightly. "Ready?" "Yea come on let's get going." "Where's Pearl?" "She left already." Garnet opened the door for Opal and watched as she walked out. "With Morganite I'm guessing." "Yep." Garnet closed the door and locked it shaking it a little to make sure it stayed locked. "Why won't you say anything Opal?" "Because she's doing it out if jealousy and if she wants to do it like that then she'll just have to learn." Garnet opened the car door for Opal and walked around getting in. "You know how Morganite is though." "She's fine." Opal buckled up and winked at Garnet as she backed up out of the driveway. "I used to hate going to parties." "How come?" "I always get attacked by some desperate boy and then when I say I'm not interested in boys I get a speech about how pretty I am to be gay blah blah blah." "I usually get invited to the back rooms." "Aw gross come on don't tell me that." Garnet said laughing. "Don't miss the house." Garnet nudged Opal and parked on the side of the road. "there's a ton of people here...more than I expected." Garnet said putting her hands in her pockets. "Come on you'll have so much fun." Opal said grabbing her arm lightly. "I don't really drink anymore though.." "You don't have to if you don't want to sweetie." "If someone says or does anything..." "You'll break their limbs and shove it down their throat I remember." "Good." Garnet said walking in the loud house. "Here we go.." Garnet watched as everyone danced around her and felt Opals grip loosen up. "I'm going to find Pearl ok?" "Alright." She said loudly so Opal could hear. Opal gave Garnet a kiss on the cheek then wandered off into the crowd. "Mind if I offer you a drink?" Garnet looked down at Lapis and took the drink from her. "Why do you look so down?" "I'm not a party fan." Garnet sat down on an open couch and took a sip of her drink. "What is this?" She said shaking it a bit. "I think Vodka with an energy drink." "Its weak whatever it is." "And you can do better?" Lapis said laughing. "Of course I can." Garnet saw a bottle of tequila on the table next To a half empty vodka bottle. "heavy drinker?" "Kind of?" Garnet grabbed the two bottles and mixed them together shaking it up as she did. "Now this is something strong." Lapis took a sip of it and instantly spit it out. "Thats...gross." She said drinking her other drink. "No chaser is why." Garnet said drinking the bottle she had. "Where's Opal?" "She went to go and look for Pearl." "Without you?" "She'll be fine." Garnet said still drinking her mixed drink. "You gonna drink that whole thing?" "Well Yea I'm not gonna do anything else." Lapis scooted closer to Garnet still talking to her.
       "Pearl!?" Opal said getting her little sisters attention. "You made it?" "Of course I would make it!" Opal hugged Pearl and slightly ignored Morganite standing next to her. "Hey Opal." Morganite said holding onto Pearl. "Hey." Opal said slightly looking at her. "You look really nice." "Mhmm." Pearl broke the awkward silence when she pushed Morganite a bit. "Another drink?" "I think you've had enough of drinking Pearl." Morganite said taking her cup away from her. "Don't be such a party pooper, I thought you would be doing more than me." "Nah, not this time." Morganite said slowly leading Pearl away. "Take care of my sister Morganite." "I won't doing anything to hurt her Opal." Opal turned around and bumped into Jasper. "Sorry I did mean to.." She looked up and backed away in disgust. "it had to be you?" Jasper looked down at her then smiled. "Hey, all the boys that want a little something come over here and pick this girl up! Her name is Opal and she'll LOVE to help you all out!!" Opals eyes widened as she got grabbed and slowly dragged up the stairs. "L-let me go!!" She said in a panic. "Garnet!!"
