"WAKE UP GARNET OH MY GOD WAKE UP!!!!!" "GARNET YOU HAVE TO WAKE UP!!" Garnet got up in a panic and looked at her two mothers. "What!? What's wrong!?" "This!" Ruby threw a water balloon at Garnet and laughed loudly when it popped. "Ah! That's cold! Mom!" "I'm sorry sweetie but its really hot I just thought you should cool off is all." "I'm totally going to get you back." Garnet said shaking off. "And how you plan to do that?" "By...doing this!!" Garnet tackled Ruby and grabbed a water ball on out of the bucket Sapphire was carrying. "There can only be onnneeee!!!" Garnet said popping it over her face. "You two are so silly." Sapphire said laughing at them. "My two sweethearts.." Garnet got up and stood in front of Sapphire with a warm smile. "Who said you weren't getting wet?" Ruby said latching onto Sapphire. "Ruby?" Her soft voice grew louder as Ruby ran down the stairs and outside towards the pool in the back. "Ruby!!!" Garnet followed after her and watched as she jumped up and crashed down into the cold water. "Hahaha!!" "Ruby!" Sapphire said splashing her. "You thought you were safe?" Ruby laughed and swam away. "You two are the best." Garnet said standing there laughing. Ruby got out and helped Sapphire out of the pool. "Its to hot to be cold am I right?" Ruby said watching Sapphire ring out her long white hair. "Hmm..I guess you're right." Sapphire said putting her hair back in a ponytail. "Garnet!" Garnet looked at Ruby and put her defense up. "I am not going In that pool.." "Sure you aren't?" Ruby ran after Garnet and fell in as Garnet did a flip over her avoiding her tackle. "What!?" Ruby said splashing in the water. "I told you I wasn't getting in." Garnet said sticking her tounge out. "I have failed!" Ruby said floating on her back. "Why not invite your two friends over today Garnet?" "I didn't even think about that." Garnet quickly ran inside and called Pearl. "Is something wrong?" "No, I just wanted to know if you would want to come over and have some fun." "Can Opal come?" "Of course Opal can come!" "We'll be there right away!" Garnet hung up and made her way back outside. "Where'd?" She looked back when she heard a loud yell behind her and tried moving. "Not this time!" Ruby grabbed her and jumped up in the air smashing down into the water. Sapphire chuckled shaking her head at the two. She looked back when she heard Pearl open the screen door and waved at her. "Hello! My name is Sapphire I'm Garnets mother." "Hello Mrs. Sapphire! My name is Pearl." "And my name is Opal nice to meet you!" Opal and Pearl watched as Garnet got out with Ruby and started laughing a bit. "What's so funny?" Garnet said shaking her head. "You're all wet." "And so are you!" Ruby said running up to the two. "The names Ruby! And I as well am Garnets mom!" She gave them a big hug and slowly started walking back towards the pool. "So I'm guessing everyone here can swim?" "Yea we can swim why ask?" Opal looked back and saw her getting closer and closer to the pool. "She's dropped our defenses!!!" Ruby quickly dropped in the pool laughing and watched as they quickly got out completely wet. "I am the pool master!!" Ruby said getting out laughing. "The pool master huh?" Garnet said crossing her arms. She looked at Pearl and Opal and watched as they laughed at her mothers jokes. "Hey Garnet." Garnet looked at her mother and smiled brightly as she put her fist up. "How bout a quick round?" Sapphire shook her head at the idea and stood in front of Ruby. "You know I hate when you two play fight." "I won't go hard this time sapphire." Ruby winked at Sapphire making her blush a bit then hugged her back. "Not today ok?" Sapphire said lightly smacking Ruby's cheek.
     "Mom saved you this time, lucky." "You were gonna get beat anyway." Garnet said walking over to Pearl and Opal. "Your parents are amazing Garnet." "You think so?" Garnet said chuckling. "Its like you have such a perfect life." Garnet looked at Opal and sighed a bit. "Its gotten better I should say we've cane a long way from what we were." "You actually had bad times?" Opal said patting Garnets back. "Yea but like I said we've came a long way..I would still like to know about your parents though." Garnet said watching her two parents play around. "Our mother left." Pearl said holding her hands to her chest. "I'm sorry." Garnet said looking down at Pearl. "No need to be sorry Garnet you weren't the one that pushed her away." Opal said nudging her shoulder. "It was our fathers fault he left her hanging and didn't do anything to help." "Left her hanging?" "He decided to up and leave then convince her to move in with him. After that we never heard from them again." Garnet looked at Pearl shocked and uncrossed her arms. "That's.." "Not right? Yea we thought that too but...you can't save everyone right?" Opal said hiding her shakey voice. "Well..I can save you two." Garnet said hugging the two. "You don't have to do that Garnet." Pearl said losing breath. "I don't have to but I want to." Garnet let them go and looked back when she saw Ruby run in after Sapphire. "I wonder what happened." Garnet said to herself. She looked back at Pearl and Opal with a smile. "It was fun to have you two over but...I think you should go now." "Well how come?" Opal said confused. Garnets smile faded when she heard arguing and sighed a bit. "That's why." "You can call us if you need anything Garnet." Garnet walked them through the house with the loud arguing and opened the car door for Pearl. "I'll make sure to do that." She waved them goodbye as they pulled off and felt angst when she walked back in the house. "I don't want to hear it Ruby!" "Its not an excuse this is the truth!!" Garnet ran up the stairs and shut her door. "I can't do that today.." She sat on her bed and put her head down in her lap every time she heard a loud bumping noise. "We were doing so good.."
