Garnet and Pearl walked inside and looked around as everyone mumbled to themselves. "Welcome back Garnet." Mrs.Emerald said to her as her and Pearl walked in the room. "Hello Mrs. Emerald." Garnet said walking to her seat. "While they take a seat I would like to introduce another new student to our slightly corrupt school." Mrs. Emerald waved her hand up and looked at a girl with dark blue hair and a blue hoodie. "Your name sweetheart?" "Lapis." She said sitting back down. "Anything else?" "I'm on the swim team and I'm not new I've been here before everyone basically knows me." Garnet and Pearl looked at Lapis then looked at each other. "We don't know you." Garnet said making Lapis look at her. "Sorry if it seemed rude but its true." Garnet looked back forward and put her head down. "Well if greetings are over I would like to get the work started." Mrs. Emerald said clapping her hands together. Lapis stared at Garnet and smiled to herself. "I like her already." Pearl watched Lapis with caution then looked forward. "we're doing another project!?" A student said getting their attention. "Yep a little life lesson about Love." "This is British literature not project love class." someone else said. "oh and guess what. I have your groups assigned." Everyone in the class groaned except for the three in the back. "Don't tell me-" "Garnet! You're in a group with Pearl and Lapis!" "Exciting!" Garnet said full of frustration. "It won't be hard dear I swear." 'RIIINNGGGG!!!' Everyone got out of their seats and hurriedly left the classroom. "Hey, Garnet right?" Lapis said getting Garnets attention. "Yes?" Lapis pulled Garnet close to her and kissed her. "Seriously??" Pearl pushed Lapis away and stood in front of Garnet. "What's your problem!?" Pearl yelled angrily. "Just getting information for the project is all don't worry." Garnet watched as Lapis walked away with spunk and wiped her face. "does everything always have to happen to me?" "Its ok Garnet." "That was unbelievable." Garnet walked out of the classroom and bumped into Morganite. "Well hey there." "Morganite what are you doing here?" Pearl said walking up behind Garnet. "Just came to see how my lovely is." "I'm not your lovely, Morganite are you supposed to be here?" "I can come and go as I please actually." "what do mean?" "Well I do know the principle personally she is in fact my aunt and...Yea." Morganite said shrugging her shoulders. "You're related to Jasper!?" "Yea, but its not really a close relationship." "Why can't I have a normal day when I just get back?" Garnet yelled passing everyone. She went to her next class and sat in the desk irritated. "It's like I can never have peace.." She put her head down and closed her eyes. "Don't tell me you're going to sleep in my class." Garnet heard the soft voice and looked up at her teacher Ms. Blue. "No ma'am I'm sorry I'm just kind of frustrated right now." "Is it relationship problems?" "I'm not in a relationship." "Home problems?" "Something like that." "Well Garnet if it's home problems you should tell me or someone." "you and Mrs. Emerald are the only teachers that actually care, but I barley talk to you and Mrs. Emerald likes to make jokes a lot." "Talk to me Garnet." Ms. Blue said pulling a chair up in front of her. "My mom met someone else her name is Topaz and she's just...annoying! Its like she knows all about me or something." "Topaz?" "Yea that's her god forsaken name." "I've heard of that name once. Another student has complained about her once before saying she was the most abusive person they've ever met." "what?" "Yes, many complaints frequently the same student said she has gotten night terrors just by coming in contact with her its like she has some weird affect on different types of people." "I need to go home Ms. Blue she's at home with my mother alone!" "Go ahead dear I won't hold it against you." "Thank you so much." Garnet said getting up and walking out of the class. "Garnet?where are you going?" Garnet grabbed Pearl and kept walking past Morganite and the others in the hallway. "What's the matter Garnet?" "I have to go back home and tell mom about Topaz." "What about her?" "She's not who she acts like, Ms. Blue told me another student has had a past relationship with Topaz and it was way bad. She said she was super abusive." "So she has a record of abuse?" "If more than one student says the same thing then yes!" Garnet walked out of the doors and got in her car waiting on Pearl. "let's go and get Opal." Garnet said starting the car. "What for?" "Just in case." They drove off and made their way back to Pearls house. "You're going pretty fast Garnet." Pearl said holding onto the side of her door. "I have to hurry and get there!" Garnet said gripping the steering wheel harder. "garnet you know we don't live far from the school!" Garnet quickly turned the corner down Pearls street And pulled up in Pearls driveway honking the horn. Opal got off of the couch and opened the door confused at the honking. "What is it?" Pearl got out of the car and went up to Opal. "Garnet needs your help with Topaz she said." "Help?" Opal said walking to the car. "What's going on?" "Come on, hurry please Opal I have to get to mom." Opal got in the car and buckled up when Garnet pulled off. "What's happening Garnet?" "Topaz, I learned that she's highly abusive and she's with MY mother!" They pulled up in the driveway and quickly got out bursting inside. "Mom!?" "Mom is not home Garnet please stop yelling." Garnet watched as Topaz walked up to the two. "Where is my mom?" "She went out." "Out where?" "Garnet, calm yourself ok?" "No! I know about you, you go around and abuse people for fun!" "And what makes you say that dear?" "because two people have had the same problem before me." "Problem?" "Yes, you!" "I haven't done anything of the sort." "Bull-" "I do know you!" Opal said interrupting Garnet. "You were trying to get with my sister Sardonyx and left angry because she beat you up after you tried to hit her." "No wonder you're so hostile." Topaz said laughing. "I changed a while go so I have no intentions to hurt you Garnet or your amazing mother." "You're lying." "Why would I lie?" "To hide yourself!" "I said stop yelling Garnet." "Make me." "If you insist." Topaz pushed Opal back and grabbed Garnet. "I told you about respect in this house didn't I?" Garnet kneed her in the stomach making Topaz drop her. "Opal!" Opal grabbed onto Topaz and tried to bring her down. "Get off of me!" Topaz slammed Opal on the ground and heavily punched her in the chest paralyzing her. Garnet ran at Topaz with a lamp and smacked her on the head with it. "Ow...Garnet seriously?" Topaz rubbed her head and Made her way to Garnet. "Stay back..." Garnet said shaking a bit. "Are you scared?" Garnet grabbed her keys and punch Topaz in the face as hard as she could. "Ugh!" Topaz fell to the floor and held her cheek as it started bleeding. "I want you to leave me and my mother alone." Garnet hovered her fist and keys over her face getting ready to strike. "Garnet!!" Garnet stopped and looked at her fear stuck mother. "Sapphire! Get her off of me!" Topaz said in a panic. Sapphire looked at Opal and saw how hard it was for her to breathe and ran over to her. "Opal sweetheart listen to me take a deep breath and breathe out slowly." Opal nodded her head slowly and did what Sapphire said. "Someone needs to tell me what's going on." Sapphire said getting Garnet off of Topaz. "She clearly attacked me!" Topaz said getting up slowly. "She ran at us first!" Garnet said snapping back at Topaz. "What?" Sapphire said utterly confused. "Baby she hit me with her keys look what she did to my face! all I did was talk to her about me changing and she went and did this!!" "Garnet..." "She punched Opal in the chest and came after me." "I accidently elbowed her in the chest I admit that it was a complete accident!" Sapphire looked at the two and clenched her fist. "Garnet go to your room." "What!? I didn't do anythi-" "Go!!" Sapphire looked at Garnet with her angry sharp blue eyes and pointed upstairs. Garnet gritted her teeth and stomped up the stairs. "I can't believe she would do this..I'm so sorry Topaz." "No, its ok." Topaz said with a hurt smile. Opal stood up and slowly made her way up to Garnets room. "Garnet?" She opened Garnets door and watched as she destroyed the wall. "Garnet stop." Opal said tiredly. Garnet stopped and helped Opal in her room. "Opal, I'm sorry I dragged you into this." "It's ok Garnet." "You weren't supposed to get hurt its my fault." "listen to me Garnet I know it'll sound strange but I love you and I will do anything for you." "What..?" "Yea I said it I can't help but say it I thought of it when I first met you. You're everything Garnet you're so perfect and I love you for that." Garnet stared at Opal for a bit and gave her a smile. "There's goes my smile!" Opal said hugging her. "Opal." Opal looked at Sapphire and let go of Garnet. "Can me and Garnet be alone please?" "Y-yes ma'am.." Opal kissed Garnet on her cheek and walked out passing Topaz. "You're impossible." She said angrily. Topaz smiled at Opal and watched as Sapphire walked in Garnets room slightly yelling.
