Lapis and Garnet pulled up in the driveway both letting out a small sigh. They looked at each other and laughed at what happened. "Come on let's get this over with." Garnet said getting out of the car. "Let's see what goes on when you aren't around." Lapis said locking the car doors. "Heh, probably a lot." Garnet opened the door and stopped smiling when she saw Topaz holding Sapphire back and Morganite getting held back by Opal. "Mom? What's going on?" "Morganite took it to far." Garnet and Lapis walked in the house confused. "I was just saying that maybe if her relationship with Ruby was better she probably would still be alive." "And what makes you think you have the right to talk about my mother? You don't even have a single clue about their relationship so why try and bring it up?" "I was just saying." "I think its best you leave or I'll have to handle it, both of you get out or I make you." Garnet clenched her fist and took a step forward. "What am I leaving for?" Opal said. "Because you bring nothing but trouble and I just don't need that in my life you're always welcome when you can get yourself together." Garnet opened the front door and grabbed Morganite. "have a good night! Make sure you watch where you're walking I'm pretty sure there's a wild dog out there somewhere." Garnet pushed Morganite out and looked at Opal. "Out." she said with a smile, a smile that showed so much rage behind it but yet a small sense of calm. "Garnet you can't be serious." "I'm more than serious." Garnet took a step toward Opal making her quickly stand up. "Fine, Garnet I'll go but one day you'll want me back." "Whatever, just leave." Garnet said getting annoyed. Opal shook her head and walked out of the house. "Maybe we won't hear them or see them anymore." Garnet looked at everyone that was shocked by her calmness and chuckled. "What? What are you all looking at me like that for?" "Are you alright?" "Yea, I'm fine." "You handled it without violence and slight yelling." "Yea...I kind of don't have time for that stuff anymore I'm trying to calm myself down." Pearl cleared her throat nervously and stood up. "I'm going to see if she'll let me in the house." "You could spend the night here if you would like." Garnet said taking her shoes off. "I don't want to bother you all.." "You won't sweetheart I have a guest bedroom if you would like." Sapphire said holding Pearls hand with a smile. "That would be wonderful." Pearl said happily. "I better hit the road." Lapis said winking at Garnet and giving her finger guns. "You sure you want to go? Its five something in the morning." Topaz said looking at her watch. "Really? Uh...yea I can make it." "Alright then I'll see you at school." Garnet hugged Lapis and opened the door for her. "See you later okay?" "Yea, of course!" "You still have my number right?" "Yea I do." "Alright then I'll see you later." "Right." The two stared at each other for a while making each other blush a bit. "Kissss.." Topaz said in the background. Lapis looked at her then giggled. Garnet scratched the back of her head and laughed a bit. "For real this time I'll see you later." Lapis said walking back to her car. "You could've just kissed her." Topaz said watching as she shut the door. "I'm not going to do that that'll be weird." Garnet looked at Topaz with a weird face then looked at Pearl. "Come on Pearl I can show you to the guest room." Pearl followed after Garnet and waved at the two. "Goodnight." "Goodnight." "Night." The two said watching as they disappeared up the stairs. "She better be in the guest bedroom!" "Shut up Topaz!" Garnet yelled back down the stairs. "Here we are." Garnet opened the door next to her room and turned the light on. "This room is really pretty." Pearl said walking in it. "Yea I clean it every now and then just in case." "In case of what?" "Just in case." Garnet said shrugging her shoulders. "I'll be in the room next to you if you need me." Garnet closed the door and went in her room lightly closing the door. "Sleeeeppp." She said taking her clothes off as she walked over to the bed. She plopped on the bed and rolled up in the covers. "This feels so nice." She closed her heavy eyes and smiled at the warmth she had. "This feels more than nice." She heard her phone vibrate and looked back at her pants. "Of all things I forget." She got up out of her cover and picked her phone up from under her pants. She looked at the message and smiled.

'No, I didn't forget at all just got a bit comfortable is all.'

Garnet laid back down on her bed and waited for Lapis to text back.

'You never told me how awkward Topaz could be.
~Lazuli'

'She caught me off guard too! I thought she was going to just shut the door or whatever.'

'I think I would've had a fit if she did that.
~Lazuli'

'Oh, do you remember what model your mustang was?
~Lazuli'

'It was a 2016 model. Why?'

'No reason just wanted to know.
~Lazuli'

'Wait did you make it home or are you texting me while driving?? That's dangerous don't do that!!'

'I'm not driving anymore silly.

'Okay good I thought I was gonna have to fight you.'

'Nah not this time.

'Tell me Garnet, what really makes you happy?
~Lazuli

'My family...my friends that's about it I like reading but I haven't been able to do it in a while.'

'Hmm...when do you plan on getting a new car?

'I hope soon...'

'Sorry to keep you up Garnet, I'll let you get some sleep now.
