Garnet looked at her phone and saw an unknown number on it, she picked it up and called it back. "Hello?" "Morganite is that you?" "Yea, I know its late at night but I was kind of thinking about you." "What? Morganite not right now.." "You didn't think of me after what I did?" "No Morganite I went home and went to sleep just like I was doing." "Sorry to wake you." "How did you even get my number?" "I memorized it when I saw it in Opals phone." "Morganite seriously? I fuss at you once and this happens?" "Look, I'm sorry Garnet...I didn't mean to wake you, honestly." "Its ok Morganite. Goodnight." "Goodnight." Garnet hung up and threw her phone back on the dresser. "Unbelievable." She said putting the cover back on her. "Garnet." She looked up and saw her mom standing in the door. "Yes?" "How are you doing?" "I'm fine, is anything wrong?" "No just missed you is all." Sapphire walked in and sat on her bed. "You know I love you right?" "Of course I do." Garnet said sitting up. Garnet looked at her door and looked at a lady standing there with bright green eyes and cream green like hair. "Who are you?" "My name is Topaz." She said walking in Garnets room. "Mom." Garnet looked at Topaz one more time and saw her bronze skin as she held her hand out. "Don't worry Garnet I'm pretty sure we're going to have the time of our lives." "I'm not shaking your hand." Topaz smiled at Garnet then put her hands in her pocket. "I understand." "Garnet come on." Garnet looked at her mother with a slight angry face then looked back at Topaz. "Get out of my room." She said to Topaz. Topaz looked at Sapphire and walked out of the room quietly. "I don't like her at all." "You feel like this because you still miss your mother." "Of course I still miss her! Garnet said laying back down and putting the cover back over her, she slightly pulled the cover away from her face watching as Sapphire left her left her room. "I love you sweetie." "I love you too." Sapphire shut her door and turned to Topaz. "I'm sorry." "There's no need to be sorry Sapphire I understand how she feels." "She didn't have to be so rude about it." Topaz lightly grabbed Sapphires face and kissed her cheek. "Its ok Sapphire." Sapphire leaned on Topaz and sighed. Garnet looked at her phone again and saw the name 'Opal' on it as it vibrated. "Hello?" "Garnet!" "Opal, calm down you don't have to yell in my ear." "Sorry I just got excited I didn't think you'd answer." "I'd always answer you or Pearl." "Were you sleep?" "Yea, but I'm getting up now, oh! And guess who called me." "Who?" "Morganite." "She did!?" Opal said loudly over the phone. "Did she do something to you when you took her home?" "No.." "Don't lie to me Garnet." "It wasn't anything major." "What was it?" "Promise me you won't do anything." "I promise." "She kissed me out of nowhere when she was getting out of the car." Garnet checked the phone after a while due to Opals silence. "Opal?" "She's lucky I don't break promises." Opal said in a angered voice. "Opal come on don't get Angry about it its ok." "Its not ok! That could have escalated quickly!" "I wouldn't have let her." "I just wanted you to know that I'm highly pissed." "Yes I know, I know." Garnet watched as Topaz entered her room and looked at her angrily. "Hold on Opal." Topaz looked around Garnets room and stood over her a bit. "Get out of my room. What part of that don't you understand?" Garnet set her phone on the dresser and sat up even more. "Where's mom?" "She went out for a bit." "Why didn't she tell me?" "I was told to tell you." "Well you told me now leave." Opal heard Garnet yell a bit on the phone and looked at her phone. "Garnet?" She said putting it back on her ear. "Garnet are you ok?" She heard muffled noises and struggling then a loud beeping noise when the phone hung up. "Pearl get my keys." Opal said kind of worried. "What's going on?" "Just toss em to me." Pearl tossed Opal her keys and watched as her sister ran out of the door. Opal quickly started the car backing out as fast as she could and drove to Garnets house in full blown worry. "Please be ok..!" She said parking on the side of the street. She got out and ran up to Garnets door knocking on it sternly. "Yes?" Topaz said opening the door. "Who are you?A-and where's Garnet?" "I'm Topaz, and Garnets in her room sleeping why?" "I'm asking cause when I was on the phone with her I heard muffled talking and yelling and then it hung up." "She probably dropped her phone is all." "She told me she was getting up as well cause she couldn't get any sleep in." "Weird she just told me she was going back to sleep." "Can you please let me in." "Im not going to let you inside." Opal clenched her fist getting ready to use force until she heard Sapphire pull up in the driveway. "Opal?" "Ms. Sapphire! Thank goodness you're here tell Topaz or whatever to let me in I'm worried about Garnet." "You can go on in sweetie." Sapphire said smiling at her. Opal angrily brushed past Topaz and ran up to Garnets room. "Garnet!?" Opal said opening her door. "Yes?" Garnet said kind of quietly. "Are you alright?" "Yea.." "You're a terrible liar. Is something going on Garnet, did Topaz do something to you?" Garnet shook her head and laid back down. "I told you she was still sleepy." "You look oddly familiar and I don't know why. But if I find out you did anything to Garnet I will personally fight you!" "Opal?" Opal looked at Sapphire and headed out of the door. "Sorry to barge in so bluntly Ms. Sapphire." Topaz shook her head as Opal left and walked out of Garnets room with Sapphire. "I should have at least said something..no, no I'm fine she can't drop my confidence down like that." Garnet said getting up again. "I'm going to catch up to Opal and tell her!" Garnet put a tank top on and some skinny jeans with red converse and ran out of the door. "Where are you going?" Topaz said standing in front of Garnet blocking her from going out of the door. "To get my Friend." "What for?" "So I can tell her what happened!" "You think she's going to believe you? You'll just kill her off like you always do." "You can't-" Topaz covered Garnets mouth quickly and leveled her face with hers. "Can you please just stop?Your strength or Will is not going to help you?" Garnet sat there looking at her for a long while and rolled her eyes. "Fine..." "Thank you." "Whatever." Garnet said moving her out of the way. "Opal!" Garnet said getting Opals attention. "Opal wait!" Opal looked at her then smiled brightly putting her phone down when Garnet got in the car. "You got up!" "Yea I didn't want to miss the fun." Garnet said glancing at Opals phone reading a text she didn't send yet.
