Garnet opened her eyes and looked over at Lapis as she got dressed sitting up tiredly and slowly. "You're getting released already?" Lapis looked back at Garnet and smiled full of joy. "I've been released a while ago, I've been staying and waiting just for this day." "You telling me you could've been in school for weeks!?" "Well yea, but then it wouldn't really be that interesting if I were there alone." "Pearl is there." "I don't really conversate with Pearl if you haven't noticed." Lapis said chuckling as she got Garnet some clothes. "Here you go i got you your cookie cat hoodie, some black jeans, a tank top in case you get hot which is also cookie cat. Um....I got your pink Vans cause you know his eye is pink. And thats about it really, just clothes and me." "Am I choosing which one I want more?" "Haha funny now come on so I can help you get your clothes on. We got school today." "What time is it?" "Five forty." "What? Why so early!?" "I had to get you up early cause I figured it'll take a while to get your clothes on. But it seems you get up early without my help." "I heard movement that's the only reason why I woke up." Garnet said chuckling at Lapis as she helped her put her pants and hoodie on. "You always sleep so sensitive?" Lapis helped Garnet up and held her up as they walked out of the hospital. "Don't we have to sign out?" "Your mom already beat us to all of that sadly, we missed the paper work." Lapis walked out and started walking to a dark blue mustang with baby blue stripes on the hood. "Who's mustang is that? Its so beautiful!" "Its mine." Lapis said helping Garnet in the car and lightly shutting the door. "No way..." Garnet said looking around like a kid in the candy store, Lapis got in the car and smiled at Garnet as she looked around like a child. "You ready?" "yea start it up I have to hear this baby purr!" Lapis cranked the car up and watched as Garnet happily squealed at the loud roar it did when it started up. "Oh my god its so amazing!" She got quiet as the car settled and lowly purred. "lapis, I must steal your car!" "you can steal many others but not this one." Lapis said laughing at Garnet. "Let's get going." Lapis said driving out of the parking lot and into the street watching Garnet as she got Happy over the noises and the horse power the car had. "I thought you just had that mustang for fun you know?" "No way, my mom had it and then...passed it down to me..but now its wrecked and totaled.." Lapis watched as Garnet crossed her arms and looked out of the window disappointed. "Its ok Garnet." "It had everything In there Lapis I had my moms engraving in the car and pictures that I really really care about." Lapis looked at Garnet then at her phone. "Make me a promise Garnet." Garnet looked at Lapis confused and uncrossed her arms. "Ok?" "Promise me that for two days you'll only have a smile on your face, promise me you can be Happy for two days." "Why would I need to do that?" "Do you promise?" Garnet stared at Lapis for a bit then smiled. "I promise." "Don't break it Garnet." "Not my kind of thing." Garnet said chuckling. Lapis pulled up in a parking spot and got out helping Garnet out of the car. "Off to first period!" Lapis said helping Garnet up the stairs. "On ward!" The two looked at each other then bursted out in laughter. "were moving two miles an hour and we're talking about on ward." Garnet said laughing loudly. "Here we are!" Lapis said helping Garnet on the last step. "Thank you Lapis." "No problem." The two made their way down the hall and got in the classroom. "You two are back!" Pearl said sitting next to Amethyst. "yep! Hey Amethyst." "Yo Lapis! Garnet! Heard what happened you two alright?" "Yea we're fine thanks for asking." Garnet smiled at her three real friends and chuckled to herself. "What's so funny?" Pearl said looking at her confused. "I'm just glad I found you guys before I left." "Left?" "Graduate, you know?" "Ah yes! We definitely have to keep up with each other after school." Pearl said clapping her hands together. "Hey, did you guys hear?" "Hear what Amethyst?" Garnet said sitting her head up. "Principle Pink Diamond got fired. And Yellow Diamond took over." "What?" "Yea, it was super crazy she just packed her stuff and left, then next thing you know here comes Yellow Diamond strutting in." "what about Jasper?" "Suspended for a couple of weeks." "What for!?" "Bullying." pearl and Lapis looked at the two and listened to their conversation. "Wow...it finally caught up to her." "Thats exactly what I said." Amethyst said leaning back In her chair. "Alright class.." Everyone looked at Ms. Emerald and saw the bags under her eyes watching as she sighed and sat down in silence. "I don't really have anything for you all to do today so..." Lapis nudged Pearl getting her attention and pointed at Ms. Emerald. "What's going on with Ms. Emerald?" "I don't know actually she's been like that for two weeks and everyone is actually very worried about her." "I hope she's ok.." Lapis said sitting back up. "She's depressed about something." Garnet said pulling out some paper. "How do you know?" Lapis said looking over at Garnet. "I can tell because thats how my mom was when we lost...my mom. Anyway, she either lost someone or she's just lonely. I think its both and its a serious risk of her turning to suicide." "Come on Garnet don't joke about that." "I'm not, I'm being serious we should go up there and keep her company." "You're right." Pearl said standing up tall. "If it were any of us she would spring into action!" The four stood up and made their way up to the front of the class room. Lapis held Garnet up and helped her up there to Ms. Emerald with determination on her face. "Oh Ms. Emerald!!" Garnet said loudly. She looked up at the four and let off a small smile.
