Can I Really Be Your Mate?

Chapter 2

 At the end of the day, I met Elizabeth in front of the gate. We walk home rather than to take a bus. While walking Eliza was telling me the places found here and she wanted to take me to these places one day.

"Great it will be wonderful, I will get to know a few places around and familiar myself".

"So what do ya say about to go shopping this Saturday"

"I’m ok with it, at what time?"

"We will decide it later."

On arriving in front of the apartment Elizabeth went in the left and I went in right .Both apartments were door to door. As I entered, I close the door behind me was going directly to my room, when I heard noise in the living room it was probably the TV. I went in the living room and saw chase sitting in front of the TV with a big bowl of popcorn on his lap. I sat beside him on couch and grab some popcorn

"What are u doin' home. Weren’t you suppose to go to the uni today?"

"I went, it was a morning lecture I came in early. And about you how was school?"

"Good .day went nice and I already made myself a friend." we watched the show quietly then came up in my mind and I really had to ask chase I know that if i asked mom, she won't give me any answers "hey chase can I ask you something? “I said trying prevent my voice from cracking.

"Yea...."

"It’s this country the one where the incident with Sam happened right"

He remained quiet, I waited for him to answer.5 minutes went by and he was still silence. I turned to him. “Chase...."

"Yes it's here" he replied without leaving the screen, then he turned to me, he grab my upper arms, looked in my eyes and gave me a shake. “Sarah... forget what happened that day, live in the present. That incident happened 6 years ago. This is the thousandth time I’m saying this. Look my princess what've you lost, I've also lost. I know you were more close to Sam than me maybe.... but you still have me" chase smile at me. He loosen his grip and gathered in arms

"Thanks for being here chase" I said hugging him back.

"Anything for you princess"

"I love you chase"

"Love ya too"

“Now I have to go. “I stood up and left for my room

 I drop my bag down and went to take a bath, after my bath I went to do my homework directly

Next morning Elizabeth and i went to school together. In class while listening the lesson I noticed a boy looking at me strangely.

"Hey Eliza see how that boy is staring at me"

"Don’t keep him attention, concentrate in the listening. We will talk about that later. "Eliza said even looking at me. She was very attentive in class saying that she has to increase her grades.

After class Eliza and I went in the yard in a quiet place to have lunch.

"Don't you have lunch with your other friends Eliza?"

"No I had a fight with them on a thing...so what were you saying in class before?"

"Ah that it was a boy looking at me however let it be, let’s talk about something else."

"Well……. Ah are you coming for the tour tomorrow."

"Which tour?"

"What do you mean by which tour, the plan to go shopping? Do you remember?"

"Yeah...Sorry I forgot."

Dring!  Dring! The bell rang. We went back in our respective classes. After school Eliza and I walked home.

"Okay, bye."

Then I enter my house and my room. Just then I went to have a shower and then I went to do my homework. After then my mom called me to have dinner and after dinner I took my novel and went to sit on the sofa of my room. A few seconds after I got a notification on Facebook. I stood up and went to my desk

: Hey Sarah join me down stairs tomorrow.

: Okay

 Next morning I woke up and prepared myself quickly, after everything I took a light breakfast and went down. Eliza was already there, we took her car and drove.

We went into the shopping centre, we have done many shopping’s. There are so many small shops with so many articles.

"There is an ice cream parlour in the corner of the street, do you want to have one?" Eliza asked me.

"Yea" I nodded

"One vanilla ice cream and one …" Eliza said then turned to me

“Chocolate."

After the ice cream we went to the cinema, there was a movie that Eliza really wanted to watch. Then we went to have lunch. Elizabeth:

"There is a truck selling delicious food in the park next the mall would you like to go." Eliza asked me

"Hmm"

We went in front of the stand and stood in the line

"One hamburger and a coke said Elizabeth."

“And for me a cheese burger and a coke."

"Here you are misses." said the server with a smirk.

Then we went to sit in a corner of the park to have our lunch, after lunch we sat for a while to observe the nature

Hey Eliza isn’t that boy who was staring at me the other day, he is over there.

"Hmm... Yeah it’s him. The other must be here also."

"Hey, what do you mean by others"

"He is among one of my friends with whom i hang out."

"Hmm... thinks he wants to talk you."

"Why?" Eliza asked, she was looking at her phone and didn't look up

"Cause he is coming right here… I think"

He marched towards us, he had a very well build body covered in a black V neck shirt well showing his six pack, dark brown hair, gorgeous chocolate brown eyes, and a strong jawline. A strange strong feeling filled up in my body, I never felt like that before. It was just like something part of soul trying to tell me something. The more that guy came closer my heart beat increased rapidly. It feels like my heart is going to explode in the upcoming moments. The world seems to disappear except him.

"Sarah your phone... earth calling Sarah "I only came to the reality when Eliza shake me.

"Huh??"

"What happened? You were day spacing. Your phone is ringing" I took my phone, checked the caller it was chase

"Hey”

"Where are you I have calling you, you should answer quickly" chase shouted across the phone

"Sorry! What happened?"

"Mom fell from the stair at work, she has her leg plastered. They are bringing her home come quickly"

I cut the call, took my bag and stood up.

"Sorry Eliza my mom fell from the stairs, I have to go..."I left without listening for Eliza's reply. But one thing is good, I left before meeting that guy, I thought I was going to die. But when I turned back to look at them on a certain distance, I saw that guy talking to Eliza and then a girl came running and hug him. I quickly turned and walked back.

When I reached home mom was already there, I spent the entire weekend taking care of mom and doing chores around the condo.
