Chapter 9

I leaned my head on my arms down on the table. The teacher had already entered the class, I had not been able to say anything to Gwen and Eliza. Just before the teacher came Julie came, we had the same class. She had made her way towards me but just then the teacher came in. so she went to her seat, even so she kept eyeing me worriedly. WORRIEDLY.

She is just a slut. The lesson ended very quickly. Everyone packed up and left along with the teacher. There were only Eli, Gwen, me and ‘Julie’. She came towards me and smile. SMILE. She was smiling to me, this is too strange.

“Sarah I have to tell you something, please listen to me.” She plead, this is becoming far too weird. She is now pleading. Well it cost nothing to listen. Gwen walked in front of me and pushed me behind of her.

“She has nothing to listen from you, go away.” Said Gwen

“Gwen is right, get lost.” Added Eliza

They are supporting without even knowing what happened, they are true friends. I am not a weak person, I can’t act like a stupid girl whose crush is with someone else. I have some self-respect for god sake. I wiped the left over tears and pulled Gwen back by her shoulder and marched to Julie.

“Let her talk.” I said nonchalantly

“What you saw is not what you think.”

“You and Ben were hugging. That is not my business. Do what you want.” Gwen and Eliza were shocked when they heard what happened.

“Ben and I broke up, there is nothing between us. It was just a friendly hug.” She said innocently.

“Why do you care you explain?” I asked her. It will be in her advantage if I go away right. She nearly kill me the other time when I was passing the hallway. Hopefully someone call her.

“Because Ben likes you. I don’t want you to misunderstand him.” She said looking directly in my eyes. She sound a bit sad. “The way Ben looks at you, he… he never looked at me like that. You are kind of special for him. You will understand that later in the future.”

“You know he was your boyfriend. You are alright giving him to anyone?” I ask her, who the hell give up his man when she loves him. Is she really dumb or what?

“I know.” She stated, “If he is with you, it’s okay.”

“We are not dating for your information.” I told her.

“I know that too, but we don’t know what might happened in the future, right?” she said now smiling brightly.

“Yea…”

“And I wondering if we could be friends?”

I glanced at Eliza and Gwen shocked about what she just asked. There is no way we can be friend with such a bitch. With Eli and Gwen faces, they share the same opinion.

“I don’t think so… we know you too well to accept the fact that you changed.” Stated Gwen eyeing Eliza. They know Julie more than me.

“It’s okay, I guessed you will say so.” She said accepting her fate as if and left. We picked our bags and made our way towards the door when Ben barged in panting.

“We have talk, Julie and I have really break up. That hug was nothing but friendly I swear.”

“I know, Julie explained. You don’t need to explain more to me, come let’s go to class.” I said and went to our bio class.

Seated, Mr Martine started. I was listening when Ben grope my hand on the table, I looked at him.

“You trust me.”

“Yea I do, Now concentrate.” I said and chuckle.

“Now Students, the project will occur this weekend. Two night and two day, be prepare. There won’t be school on Friday morning, we will all gather Friday afternoon at 4pm on the parking.” My Martine informed us.

At the end of the class we packed up and left. Ben said that he will drop me home today too and that he will wait for me on the parking. After dropping our books, Eliza Gwen and I made our way out when we saw Julie’s friend yelling at her.

“Who the hell are you calling bitch?” yelled Julie’s friend.

“You are despicable, I don’t want to be with you.” Spat Julie

“You are a bitch too, sweetie.” Said the friend sarcastically.

“At least not a dick craver like you!” smirked Julie

“You…” angry what Julie said the later raise her fist to punch Julie, I couldn't watch it. I jumped between them and punched the bimbo on her face. She step back a few feet holding her nose. I hurt my hand, she got a pretty strong nose.

“You broke my nose.” She spat at me. I don’t know what took me to protect Julie.

“Are you okay, Sarah?” asked Julie as she hold my shoulder, I turned to her and smile.

“Yea I’m fine.”

“You bitch…” called the bimbo as she comes towards me. I looked at her and smirked.

“Better bitch than a slut.”

She came closer this time to punch me, I dodged. She punched the locker behind me. That must hurt. She came again and this time Gwen and Julie came in front of me and stared at her. They were looking into each other eyes as if talking by telepathy. They then turned back and we walked out. Julie seemed a good person, she wanted to change.

“Sorry Julie for rejecting your friendship earlier.” Apologised Gwen.

“It’s okay.” Replied Julie   

“Um... Are you free tomorrow after school?” asked Eli

“Yea, why?”

“Wanna go shopping with us?”

“You are okay with me?” asked Julie.

“Yup.” Smiled Gwen.

“So we are friends?” I asked her moving my hand forward for a handshake.

“Hell yea.” She said and pulled me a hug. Both Gwen and Eli came into our group hug and we burst out laughing. I never thought that I will be friend with Julie one day. The boys were shocked when they saw us coming together with Julie talking and laughing.

Julie said bye and went towards her car and I went towards the guys.

“You guys became friends?” Kevin asked us.

“Yea.” We all said in unison. Eli went to Ryan and kissed him. Gwen went to Kevin and hugged him. They are all acting lovely dovely. I went near Ben and stand on my toe and kissed his cheek. I then looked at him and smiled. His expression was priceless.

I giggled and got in his truck. We didn’t talk, there was a silence but it was not award at all. It was quite peaceful. When I looked at him driving, he was smiling to himself like a kid.

“So where are you taking me to dine tomorrow?” I asked him playfully.

“Anywhere you want… wait what?” he stopped in middle of the road and turned to me. “What did said?”

“Take to the side when you stop idiot. You nearly kill us!” I yelled at him. Vehicles behind us were horning, he smile apologising and start driving again. I calm down and looked out the window.

“So what was it that you said?” he asked innocently

“I want to go out for dinner with you.” I smiled

“Really, then I will pick you up at 7pm tomorrow.” He cheered, he looked happy just because I said yes, such an idiot.

“Okay.” As we arrived at my complex, I unbuckled my belt, leaned over and kissed. Then I opened the door and ran away. Damn I love him.
