Chapter 7

Adriana blinked a few times when the vision ended. It nearly felt real to her. The feeling of Chogan's kiss. Chelan's feelings and emotions ran through her. The feeling of her burning blush ran across her cheeks. Her breath felt like it was caught in her throat. Nearly felt like she may choke.

She looked up at Chogan. He was helping her stand back up. A worried look was in his eyes. Adriana felt a little embarrassed that she had zoned out. But he was staring down at her hand. Looking down at her hand. Seeing she had drawn down on a piece of paper.

The drawing was a perfect drawing. It showed three people in the room. The surroundings were of a Pawnee tribe home. The exact one from her vision. Adriana saw the three people were Chogan, the Elder, and Chelan. But she froze when she saw Chelan. She was now able to see what Chelan looked. Finding she had looked a little bit like her. The same facial features.

Adriana dropped the pencil she had held. Her hands shaking like she came out of cold water. Not believing she had drawn that picture. Never before had she drawn in her life. So the sudden talent stunned.

"Adriana?" Élan asked worriedly. She touches Adriana's shoulder. Hoping to comfort her. But she was brushed off by Adriana. Quickly standing up, pushing Chogan away. Adriana hurries toward the door. "Wait, Adriana!" Chogan called out before Adriana touched the doorknob.

Looking at the Warrior. Adriana saw how worried he looked. But she looked away. "I-I need some alone time." Adriana said before exiting the house. Before she even left the porch. Chogan grabbed her wrist. Trying to pull her back into the house. Adriana spun around and growled angrily at him. Her eyes flashing red.

Chogan didn't seem to be affected when she growled. He just stared sternly at her. "What do you want?" Adriana demanded than questioned.

'Smooth.' Beast spoke.

'Oh shut it bitch!' Adriana spat. Cursing at her Other Side for the first time. Silencing Beast completely.

Letting go of her wrist. Chogan took a step back. But kept on staring at her sternly. "Listen Adriana, I came here because of your cousin, Akilla. He asked me to find you." Chogan spoke. Adriana continues to glare at him. She felt her canines grow. Able to be seen while she spoke or growled. "Well you found me. But I'm not going to wherever your tribe was." she snapped furiously.

"Adriana, we need you! You are the descendant of Chelan! You look exactly like her! But not your personalities." Chogan mumbled the last part. But she heard clearly. Earning a hard punch in the chest. He stood there like a rock once the punch was sent. Adriana showed a great sign of pain. Backing her hand away from his chest. Trying to hold the wince that wanted to escape her lips.

Gripping her reddened hand. Adriana glares deeply into his eyes. "I'll give you my answer in two days time." Chogan gave one nod. Not breaking eye contact with Adriana. His expression not cracking.

Adriana spun around and broke out running. As quickly away from her home. Her head pounding incredibly hard. Chogan's presence still burning inside her senses. His red eyes burning holes into her back.

Closing her eyes and trying to calm down. Wanting the pain she felt gone. Once her eyes opened. It exposed a new power. The whites of her eyes were now black. While the irises and pupils were completely red. She takes a deep breath. Now allowing Beast to take control. She pounces into the air and shape shifts.

Once her form hits the ground she realized something was different. Realizing brand new power was surging through her. Adriana looks down at her paws. Looking at flesh she could see in her wolf perspective. Finding that her fur had light feathers against her fur. Some strands of her fur was red. As red as blood.

The brownish black feathers blended in to her nightly fur. The new form of her wolf side silenced her. Adriana shook her head around. The throbbing pain in her head getting worse and worse.

'The more you struggle. The more painful your power will be when it surges through you.' Beast spoke coldly. Obviously not taking the words Adriana said lightly.

Adriana buried her feet into the ground and took off. She nearly gasped when she realized her speed was much faster. Able to tell by when she couldn't feel the breeze of the wind. Instead it had felt like the wind wasn't there at all.

She ran faster through the forest. Her brand new power running deep through her veins. It felt like the power was her heart. Beating faster and faster. Giving her more blood and power to be given.

Closing her eyes one last time. Adriana felt like she was at peace. But it was soon gone when pain ran through her side.
