Chapter 11
It's growls were like bullhorns being blown directly in a person's ear. The Hell Hound's snake like eyes glared deeply into his soul from behind the tree. But it didn't face Chogan as he stared back from where he was.
The sound of its skin was hissing like Medusa's hair. It's skin slivered all around. It's growls were enough sores to his ears, but it's skin made it even worse. Making him want to rip his own ears out.
Staring at the Hell Hound in the eye. Chogan growled angrily at it. His fangs glistening in the full moon's light. The color of his eyes glowed a dangerous color of red. Not the normal color he had.
He slowly draws out his Blood Blade. Feeling how he scraped his thumb on the blade. His blood seeped into the blade and flooded it. Turning the clear blade to a blood red.
Chogan stood up straight and revealed himself. Exposing himself to the Hell Hound. Even though the creature knew of his presence. The creature fidgeted when it caught sight of Chogan. Earning a sneer by him. "Aren't you bloody creatures suppose to be strong?" Chogan called out to it. A smug look on his face.
The Hell Hound immediately growled and attacked. Chogan readied himself as it charged toward him. His wolf senses came alive as he concentrated.
He bent his body backwards at the last second. Dodging the Hell Hound's poisonous claws from ripping his skin. The feeling of his spin crack was felt and heard. But it didn't bother him. Chogan took this as a chance to stab it. Quickly stabbing the creature in the chest as it glided over him. It's blood immediately splattered out of itself, spraying Chogan in the face.
It's roar of pain made him grunt. Not loving the voice level. Chogan retracted the blade quickly and straightened up. Feeling his spin crack once again. Making him groan by the feeling. Before he was able to attack the Hell Hound again. He was beat to the ground. The claws sinking deep into his skin.
Chogan yowled in pain as he feels his skin slashed. As he hits the ground blood squirted out of his mouth. His eyes were beginning to be blinded by blood. He struggled to breathe from the blood. 'Dammit!' Chogan thought as he fought the Hell Hound. Beginning to kick the Hell Hound as hard as he could. Trying to hurt its wound even more.
His leather boot slammed harder against the wound. Hearing the Hell Hound's cries made him smirk. Chogan bit down on his blade as he wrestled the Hell Hound. Succeeding in flipping the creature under him. He grabs his knife and was about to stab in between its eyes. But he was ripped off the creature by a strong force.
The ground knocked the wind out of Chogan. He gasped in pain but didn't show it. Slowly, he stood back up. Ignoring the blood loss. Chogan looks up at glared at the Hell Hound. But froze when he saw a new figure beside it.
A Reaver. . .
Chogan let out a warning growl once he saw the Reaver. He balled his hands into fists. More blood dripping down his knuckles. His free hand reached down and gripped his wound. Feeling the warm blood drip down his chest. His eyes didn't leave the Reaver. Watching as she didn't leave the spot.
"Who are you?" Chogan demanded coldly. He wiped the blood off his chest and griped his knife. The she-Reaver rolled her eyes and crosses her arms. "Name's Kira, your worst nightmare." the Reaver had a deep Russian accent. A smirk was on her lips as she takes out a sword.
Chogan didn't know how to respond. He couldn't let himself leave her eyes. She didn't seem that much of a Reaver. He could a pure soul inside. It was too pure.
"No you're not." Chogan said calmly. Sheathing his knife back in its leather sheathe. When he looks back Kira was right in front of him. An insulting look on her face. "What do you mean by that?" Kira demanded angrily. "What I mean is that you didn't want to become what you are. You were originally a human. But once you became a Reaver there was no going back." Chogan said too calmly.
He looks behind the Reaver to stare at the already dead Hell Hound. It's snake skin was slivering away like a chicken without a head. Chogan tried to walk away. Feeling like this was a waste of his time. But before he could take a step he was flipped. Sensing it right away, he landed on his feet as he was flipped. Then flipped Kira over his shoulder.
Kira let out a painful groan as she made contact. Her turquoise colored eyes showed too much pain. From the past and present.
"Engaging in a battle with me is very idiotic." Chogan said as he towered over Kira. A small smile appearing on his face as he looked over her beautiful face. Kira looked up at him. A glare on her face as she caught his stare. "The way you choice your words are as if you are much older than you appear." Kira said as she stood back up. Dusting herself off as she tries to regain her posture.
"Many may seem younger than their older forms show." Chogan replied. A smirk on his face as he saw confusion wash over the young Reaver's face. It was amusing as she tried to understand what he meant.
The way Kira stared at him made him smile. The same way Chelan had done far into the past. The remembrance of her made the smile fade. Chogan turned around and walked off. But he knew that this Reaver wouldn't let him go.
So he stopped his walk and turned his head to look at her. "May I ask why you are even here? This is wolf territory I presume?" Chogan said quite strictly. His cold, reserved red eyes burrowing deep into Kira's soul. She shivered at the way he stared. Feeling very frightened that he may do something terrifying to her person.
"I promise you that I won't do anything rash on yourself. So I suggest to leave me be for as long as you may." Chogan said as he walked away. No longer looking back at Kira.
