Skylar's POV

"And this is the master bedroom. There is a full size bathroom over there and you'll see that in a minute. This is the balcony over here" she said taking us to it "it has a beautiful view of the city and the ocean just beyond it. That's the main reason everyone wants this house"

She continued to talk but her voice faded as I drifted off into my thoughts.

My mind went blank. I didn't have anything in particular in mind but I guess I was out of it for a while

"What do you think?" Tanner asked me

"Hm?"

"The house...do you like it?"

"Yeah"

"Alright. We'll try and get it but we might want to look at other places just in case"

"Mhm"

"Is everything okay baby?"

I just shrugged my shoulders "I don't know"

"Are you feeling sick?"

"No"

"Then what's wrong?"

"Just a headache"

"We can go home if you want?"

"No. I'll just take some ibuprofen when we get in the car"

"Ok"

"Great!" The realtor said and clapping her hands together "I'll get back to you in a few days"

"Sounds good" Tanner said walking us out "okay, we have two more houses to look at. Do you think you'll be okay?"

"I'll be fine"

"Ok" he said turning the key and driving off

After about 15 minutes, we arrived at another house. It had a nice exterior and was kind of beach house-themed.

The realtor greeted us at the door "welcome!" He said enthusiastically "I'm Mr.White and I'm going to be showing you around this lovely house" he said shaking mine and tanner's hand.

We followed him into the house and he showed us around

"What about this house?"

"I don't know, it's nice and everything but the neighborhood doesn't look very nice. It looks deserted"

"Okay"

We both thanked the man for his time and apologized for not keeping it as an option.

"The next one is another house but it's much closer to the ocean so I think you'll like it"

"It's not by the school though"

"That's okay. If you need to get a dorm room, you can. You just have to come home every weekend. Besides, none of the ones we looked at are anywhere near the school. It's still about an hour and a half away"

"Ok"

A few minutes passed and we stopped in front of a house. It had a nice appearance on the outside and it seemed really big. Too big for just me and Tanner.

We walked inside and the realtor greeted us like the others.

"Hello, I'm mr. Tate" he smiled shaking our hands "let's get started shall we?"

We followed him as he showed us around the house. It was so big for just the two of us. It's a six bedroom house, it has two kitchens, four bathrooms, two were full sized, a big backyard and pool. Plus that, there was a fire pit that the previous owner had made by hand. It was extremely pretty, but too big.

"Tanner, I think this house is too big for us"

"We can get roommates?"

"I don't want to live with random people babe"

"Well......Bradley has been looking at apartments. We can ask him."

"What about the other three bedrooms?"

"We can have a couple extra and maybe Jacob needs a room?"

"Would he be willing to move here?"

"Jacob? Of course he would. He has wanted to move out here for so long"

"Ok"

"Lizzy and Lance live in the apartments down the road too so you don't have to be the only girl"

"Ok then. I love it by the way, I just thought it was too big for us but if we can get them, that would be great"

"I'll get the paper work and we'll get back to you in a few days" the realtor smiled
