Once the sun was clearly visible, the moment ended and we both got down to get to work.

We helped feed the animals, collect the eggs, water the plants, brush the horses, clean the saddles, and more. I had a blast and although Tanner wasn't as into it as much as I was, he was still having a lot of fun.

When all the work was done, we got to go do our own thing and as soon as I got the chance, I got the five horses out and ready to ride. Tanner, Parker, my cousin Tessie, my cousin Terrance, and I went out for a ride. We showed Tanner and Parker all the places I used to spend my time during the summers aside from the farm. We took them onto what we call the "fairy trail"

When me and my cousins were kids, we went exploring down a trail that lead into the woods. It lead into a field full of flowers and trees with a small stream flowing through the middle. We had all started to go play there everyday and we pretended it was where all the fairies lived. That's when we started calling it the "fairy trail"

Eventually, the sun started to go down and Parker, Tessie, and Terrence went on a short cut back to the farm. Tanner and I decided to take the long way home just because we felt like talking.

We talked the whole way about things like what we're gonna when I leave for college and our plans. I'm leaving in two months for it and I know I'm going to miss Tanner and my friends a lot but I want to continue to "chase my dreams" is how you could put it. Sometimes I feel like I'm being selfish but everyone says I'm not.

Then the subject I had been avoiding came up, Westin. We talked about when I'm gonna go talk to him about everything and we decided the last day I'm here would be best just in case it doesn't go the way we hope it will. I did want Tanner to help me figure out what to say but he told me that it would be best if I just said what I felt I needed to say.

When we finally reached the house, we put the horses and saddles away then we ate and went to bed along with everyone else.
