Skylar's POV

I woke up and looked at the time. It was almost one in the afternoon. I jumped out of bed and went to get in the shower. I can't believe I slept in so late.

After I got out of the shower, I wrapped a towel around my small frame and went back into my bedroom to get dressed. I heard Tanner calling out my name as he ran down the stairs.

"I'm in my room!"

He burst through my door before I even had time to finish getting dressed.

"I have a- oh hello"

"Haha very funny"

I quickly pulled my blink 182 t-shirt over my head and pulled on some ripped jean shorts "what do you have?"

"Oh yeah, I have a surprise for you upstairs"

"It's not a prank is it?" I asked noticing the camera in his hand. Luckily, it wasn't on

"No"

"Then why do you have your camera in your hand?"

"Because I need your reaction"

"If this is a joke I'll kill you" I warned as he turned on his camera

I lead the way up the stairs and heard voices outside. I walked out the front door and saw Jacob standing with his back facing toward me.

"Meet your new puppy" Tanner said as Jacob turned around. There was a black and white husky puppy sitting in his arms.

I ran over to it and Jacob placed it in my arms

"What's it's name?" I asked trying to keep my excitement inside

"Whatever you want to name it. It's your puppy and it's a boy by the way"

"It's really mine?" I asked trying to bite back tears

"Yes"

"Thank you so much you guys" I smiled and hugged both of them

"It was Jacobs idea" Tanner said

"Yeah, but you chose the puppy she would've wanted and you paid" Jacob added

"Thank you Tanner" I said hugging him again and kissing him softly

"Of course baby" he smiled "I'm glad you like him"

"I don't know what to name him"

"What are some names you had in mind?"

"I was thinking max but I want to name him after my favorite actor"

"Who's her favorite actor?" Bradley and Jacob asked at the same time

"River Phoenix" Tanner replied "she loves the 80's actors but he is her favorite"

"I want to name him after him but I can't name a dog river, that would be weird"

"So name him Phoenix" Bradley suggested

"I feel like that sounds weird" I said worried

"It's not weird, it's just....unique" he smiled

"Let's let the viewers decide" Tanner said pointing at the camera

"Good idea"

Tanner pointed his camera at himself and started to talk "guys, I want you to go vote in the comment section below. Should Sky name the new puppy max or Phoenix?"

He shut off his camera and we continued on with our day. Tanner continued to vlog while he took me on a trip to the grocery store to get stuff for dinner.

He put up a voting thing on twitter and so far everyone is voting for Phoenix so we are pretty sure that's going to be his name but we are going to wait until tomorrow to find out for sure.

"Babe?"

"Yeah?"

"I've decided I'm going to go stay up at my uncle's farm for a week"

"When?"

"Me and Parker are leaving Thursday"

"Oh, why'd you tell me now?"

"It got planned last night but me and you have talked about it before"

"True. I'll miss you"

"Actually, I was hoping maybe you'd want to come with?"

"Why?"

"Everyone wants to meet you"

"I'd love to go"

"Ok, I'll let them know you're coming"

I'm glad that he decided to come. Everyone wants to meet him and I think he'll like the farm.
