I could feel my heart beat faster and faster as I got closer to the house. I sped into the driveway and got out of the car as quickly as I could, running into the house.

Skylar's POV

Jacob and I flinched as we heard the front door swing open. Jacob quickly ran into mine and tanner's bathroom and closed the door. I could hear heavy footsteps running down the stairs at a quick pace and I suddenly felt scared. My heart stopped when he burst through my door, putting a hole in the wall.

"Please tell me this is fucking joke!" He shouted, throwing jacob's phone at the wall. It shattered and fell apart beside my bed

Do I end the prank now? No, but I'll probably have to buy Jacob a new phone now.

"Skylar!" He screamed, his voice echoing through the house as his face turned bright red

"What?" I ask keeping my eyes off of him

"Don't play these fucking games with me sky....I said is this a fucking joke!?" He shouts again

I slowly shake my head "I don't know what you're talking about"

"Quit fucking lying to me!" He screams much louder than before

I stay silent, waiting for him to do something.

"Jacob! Where are you!? I know you're in here bitch!" He shouts, looking in my closet and under the bed. When he made it to the bathroom, the door was locked and he started to scream "open the fucking door!"

Not gonna lie, he was kind of scaring me. But really, can you blame him? He took off out of my room and just seconds later, I heard a distant door swing open, then Jacob came running to my room from the bathroom with tanner hot on his tail. Tanner cornered Jacob and raised his clenched fists.

"Woah woah woah!" I shout, jumping off the bed and in between them "lets just talk about this please?"

Tanner took a step back and his face softened. Tanner is really reasonable, and tries to think things through. That makes it hard not to love him.

I sigh and scratch the back of my neck

"One of you better tell me what the fuck is going  on before I lose my shit" he stood back with a very angry stare at Jacob

"I'm so sorry tanner, I didn't-" Jacob starts

"Save your fucking apologies. I don't want excuses, I want answers!" He says, pushing himself away from the wall and inching himself closer.

We both stayed silent and tanner got angrier "did you sleep together?" He asked almost in a whisper, but I could still hear the heartbroken crack in his voice

"What?" Jacob asks

"I said did you fuck my girlfriend!?!?" He shouts angrily but I could tell he was sad and I knew exactly what he was hoping we would say

Tanner looked away and I shook my head at Jacob but he nodded. When tanner looked back at us, Jacob nodded and I took a step beck after shooting him an evil glare.
