With a new mindset on his shoulders, Odell breezed his way into his apartment only to be greeted by silence. He frowned, tossing the duffel bag onto floor and looked around the place.
"Willow?" Odell called out, opening his closed bedroom. There he saw that his bed was neatly made up. Odell furrowed his brows for a second, and then it clicked. He snapped his head towards the corner where Willow's bags would be at. When he saw that the corner was empty, he worriedly began to pace around his bedroom.
"Please God no," Odell went into the bathroom hoping to see her fake eyelashes in their little, pink container or her facial wash by the sink but instead, came into contact with a clear marble counter.
"Fuck!" He slammed his hand down on the counter in anger and stormed out of the bathroom, going back to the space where her bags should be. Odell's eyes frantically searched the area, wishing for a note or something. At that moment, his phone dinged and he immediately went over to where his phone was. Odell was really expecting a message or something from Willow, but it was a email from his mother asking something that he didn't care about at the moment.
"You fucking dumbass O," Outrage overcame him and Odell chucked his phone at the wall beside his window. He gripped his hair tightly, thinking how he didn't even get the girl's number. Odell was so focused on dealing with how far away she was from him and didn't get the most important thing. He sighed and reluctantly let go of his hair. He walked over to where he threw his phone and saw that his screen was totaled.
"Great. Just fucking great," Odell shook his head and grabbed his car keys. When he got inside the driver seat of his glossy black Range Rover, he rested his head against the steering wheel. Even the weather described how he was feeling: dark and cloudy. Just when Odell thought he could make things right, his problems go left.

Willow grazed over the bunch of young children playing all over the playground, praying that she found who she was really looking for. When she thought about giving up and going back to her job, a curly headed cutie yelled her name out.
"Miss Wilson!" Azalea's perky voice sounded out. Willow's eyes grew big and held her arms out open for Azalea's little body. Just after Azalea came into contact with Willow, she stood up and swung her in circles in joy. She set the child down and took a breather.
"Whew!" Willow whipped a spiral curl out of her face. "I'm so glad to see you again Z!" Azalea gasped and held her hand to her chest.
"Miss Wilson, you remembered my name!" Willow frowned and tilted her head.
"Why wouldn't I not remember?" Azalea looked away from Willow and dropped her head towards the ground.
"Well, people don't remember me at all. And if they do, they call me a bitch, or a whore." Willow squatted down to Azalea's level and reached for her hands. She gently squeezed them and rubbed her thumbs against Azalea's palms.
"Azalea, those words you just spoke are bad words okay?" She shook her head rapidly. "And I'll never forget you or your name okay sweetheart?" Azalea furrowed her brows and folded her lips into a straight line.
"Uh, Miss Wilson I think you just forgot." Willow chuckled and pinched her sides. Azalea giggled and smiled, her chocolate cheeks hinting at a dark shade of red. They were currently outside on East Side High's Elementary playground. Kids of all different shades roamed the playground, some swinging on the swings, and some climbing the monkey bars. Willow noticed a white little girl staring over to where they were at.
"Hey Z, is that one of your friends?" Azalea turned in the direction of the little girl.
"Oh yeah! That's my best friend Reece. Dang, I totally forgot about her when I came to see you Miss Wilson." Willow furrowed her brows and slightly nudged her.
"You can go play with her Azalea. Don't leave her hanging okay?" Azalea looked up at Willow and smiled. "Friends stick by each other, don't forget that." And with that, Willow sent her off to where Reece was sitting on the opposite side of the seesaw. Azalea happily jumped on the other side, causing the seesaw to lift like Reece's mood did. Willow's heart warmed at the sight and chuckled to herself.

Once Odell got his phone fixed, the first person he called was Shep. He would've called Victor, but all he would want to do is party off the situation.
"Please answer the phone Shep," He mumbled. When the clicked on the other end, he let out a breath.
"Lemme guess, you said some more stupid shit and she left you?" Odell wiped a hand down his face and frowned.
"She was gone when I got back from the gym, Shep. I didn't even say anything!" Shep chuckled and shook his head.
"Probably because of what you said earlier. She didn't leave a note or a text message?" Odell twisted a blonde curl around his fingertips.
"No, because my dumbass never got her number," Shep's laughter sounded from the other end, causing Odell to roll his eyes.
"Yeah yeah. Laugh it up. That still doesn't help me find her." Shep calmed down and raised his hands in defense.
"Look, I don't know what to tell you O. She didn't tell you where she was going before you left?" Odell racked through his brain, trying to come up with anything.
"Well um, lemme go over what we talked about this morning. Um, we talked about her job and, wait, I got it! She had to go to a workshop today for the kids!" He bit lip in excitement, doing a little dance in the seat.
"Well, that's a start. Do you remember where this workshop is?" Odell loudly groaned and slapped the steering wheel.
"I think its same school we went to for the event." Shep sighed and rubbed the side of his face.
"Well O, Imma let you go get yo girl and you tell me about it later okay? Okay." Odell furrowed his brows and took the phone from his face to see if Shep really hung up on him. Sighing, he searched up the school's address and put it in his GPS. Odell reversed out of his driveway and headed down the road, planning on how to get his girl back.
