Willow pulled up to the apartment complex at 5:00 with a sulking Azalea in the front seat. Her aunt never told her what floor or door number they lived on, but Willow assumed it was the third floor because every time the aunt came walking down two flights of stairs.
"Ms. Willow, are you sure you're coming to see me again next month?" Azalea said lowly. Willow looked over and saw the sadness in her eyes. She held a hand out and Azalea placed her small hand into it.
"Lea, I promise I'm gonna see you next month okay?" Willow squeezed her hand lightly. Azalea's mouth was slightly agape, almost seeming as if she wanted to say something. Willow furrowed her brows when she looked away from her.
"You know you can tell me anything right?" She reassured. Azalea shifted her eyes back onto Willow and sighed.
"I know Ms. Willow, but its something I don't think I'm supposed to tell you." She voiced, leaving Willow confused.
"Why don't you think you're supposed to tell me?" She didn't want to probe and put Azalea at a tug of war with her family and herself, but she just had to know what was putting fear into her heart.
"Because, you might get hurt. And I don't like to see you hurt." Azalea admitted. Before Willow could respond, a loud knock at her window disrupted the conversation. She let out a breath of air when it was just Azalea's aunt.
"Hurry the fuck up now, its getting dark and its time for her to go anyways." She demanded. Azalea unbuckled her seatbelt and so did Willow. Once she stepped out of the car, she felt arms wrap around her upper thigh. Willow glanced at the mugging aunt and quickly returned the hug from Azalea.
"I love you Lea, I'll always love you okay?" She whispered into her ear. Azalea smiled a little and nodded. Suddenly, she was yanked from Willow and was being pushed in the other direction. The aunt paused and turned around to say something to Willow.
"You don't love this girl, I barely love her myself." She said and then pushed Azalea up the stairs. Willow watched them until they were out of sight and got back into her car.

Odell was switching radio stations when he heard a soft knock on his passenger window. Smiling, he unlocked the doors. Once she got in, Willow slipped off her jacket.
"Whew, it's chilly out there." She mentioned, trying to get comfortable.
"Yeah, you're right about that." Odell responded looking over at her. He let his eyes rest on her face, noticing some disguised distress. It was starting to become a staring contest until Willow shifted her gaze somewhere else.
"You know, I wish you would stop looking at me like that." Willow advised, playing with her fingers. He smirked, finally taking his eyes off of her.
"Why you say that?" Odell asked.
"Because," She stopped, trying to gather her thoughts. "You make it so hard for me to not be mad at you." Willow did forgive him, but she didn't want to be this naive person to fall for his false prophets and get hurt again.
"I thought you said you forgave me though?" He wasn't feeling any of the music on the radio so he turned it off. She sighed and rested her head on the headrest.
"I did forgive you Odell, but I didn't forget." Odell didn't have a rebuttal and kept quiet.
"I just, I don't wanna fall again and be the only one falling alright?" Willow confessed, causing him to look at her. He leaned up in the driver seat and grabbed both of her hands.
"Tell me more." She frowned at him, confused to what he was talking about. Odell saw the way she was looking at him and smiled.
"Tell me more on how you feel. About me, about what happened, about how you feel as of now, and about us." He said. Willow darted her eyes downward, shocked at the new Odell in front of her.
"Uh well, I do like you Odell. Always have, still do. I'm just afraid that we might, hence the word 'might'." She stressed. Odell rolled his eyes and stuck his tongue out.
"That you're gonna hurt me again and that's a place I don't wanna reach in my life ever again." She said.
"Hm," Odell pressed his lips together, considering what she said. "I understand that. And it hurts me that I caused all of that." Willow stared at him, seeing the sincerity all over his face.
"It was hard hearing that you tried hurting yourself because of me and I promised that I would never hurt you. I uh, broke my promise and it broke me." Odell acknowledged, dropping his head. The car was fairly warm, almost close to being toasty but suddenly Odell had the sniffles. Willow raised a brow, wondering if he was really crying in front of her.
"I felt like shit the entire time we was apart. I started playing like shit, putting myself in shitty situations, and with shitty people." Odell sniffled again, still keeping his head down.
"I ain't gonna lie, I slept with a bunch of girls to try and get over you." Willow internally cringed, looking away at out the window. "But they didn't work. Shit, we haven't even had sex but they couldn't compete with you. None of them were on your level. I couldn't find that innocence, that beauty, that glow, that genuine soul like you had." He let go one of her hand to wipe the tears rolling down his cheeks.
'And uh," Odell quivered from the tears. "Even though I've said sorry a million times, I honestly mean it Willow. You stayed on my mind 24/7 and still do now." He smiled to himself.
"I know you saw me commenting under your pictures." Odell mentioned, causing Willow to giggle.
"Oh yeah, I saw you alright." She agreed smirking at him. He laughed and shook his head.
"You did look beautiful in those pictures and you look even more beautiful in person." Odell finally picked his head up to look at her. Willow's breath was halted at the sight before her. His face still had the marks where the tears rolled and his eyes were slightly red. She noticed a little tear trying to escape its way out and reached over to wipe it away. Her soft hand soothing caressed his face. Odell lowered his eyes, smiling at her.
"You know," He took her hand down from his face. "Yesterday, I saw another one of your pictures on Instagram and I made a vow to myself to get you back." Willow smirked and leaned over the seat. Odell raised his eyebrows and leaned in also a bit to where there was only an inch of space separating their lips. He dipped his head down and whispered into her ear.
"And I don't stop 'til I get what I want."
