Rosanna

Sunday

"Stop Julian!" I yelled as I ran around the counter.

"Hell nah Ro!"

I was out of breath from running and laughing.

It's been 2 days since our date and we've been good since then. However, this is the first time we've physically seen each other since then because he's been busy with work and I've been busy with Marci.

Tonight, Julian invited me to his place for dinner. I offered to help him in the kitchen and then we ended up playing around. I flicked a little bit of flour in his face and now he was chasing me around the kitchen trying to get me back.

"It wasn't even that serious! Stop chasing me!"

I was laughing too hard rn. I thought about just letting him catch me because I was tired and out of breath .

"I'm gonna get you back!"

I ran out of the kitchen and into the living room where he caught me. We both fell onto the couch, him ontop of me.

We were both just staring at each other. I looked down at his lips, forgetting that he was starring at me I bit my lip imagining what it would be like to kiss him.

"You wanna kiss me?" He asked with a smirk on his face.

I couldn't help myself, I nodded and he bent down. Our lips met and boy were his lips soft and juicy! I opened my mouth to give him access and he dominated the kiss.

It was getting heated until Skai threw her toy out of her playpin and started yelling. I broke the kiss because I completely forgot she was in here.

I put my hands on my face because Julian was staring at me and I lowkey can't believe I just kissed that man like that. I could feel my face heating up, I was so shy. I heard Julian start laughing as he got up.

Peeking at Julian from between my fingers I watched as he picked up Skai's toy and went back into the kitchen to finish cooking. I sat up and looked over at Skai who was sitting in the playpin playing with her toy.

Skai was adorable, she was one of those babies that you just wanted to hold and kiss their cute little cheeks. But I definitely didn't want to over step my boundaries so I just sat in front of the playpin and played with her.

"The food is ready." Julian informed me.

"Do you want me to get her?" I asked him referring to Skai.

"Yeah, you can."

I picked her up and took her into the kitchen. I sat her in her high chair and proceeded to take seat at the table. Julian walked over and sat a plate in front of me. He had cooked fried fish, string beans, and macaroni and cheese. My mouth was watering and I was ready to dig in because mac and cheese was my favorite. But I waited for Julian to get his plate and sit down.

I bowed my head and silently praying over my food before beginning to eat.

"This is really good." I told him.

"Thanks ma."

"Where'd you learned to cook?"

"My bro Freaky's parents taught me when I was staying with them. Both his mom and dad could cook so we was eating good almost every night and almost every night I was in the kitchen learning whatever they could teach me."

I nodded, impressed because I loved food and having a man that could cook was a must!

I looked up from my food to see Julian started at me. I hated when people starred at me because it made me nervous.
