I sighed with amazement as I stood in the mirror rubbing my hand over my very small baby bump. It was hardly there but I was in love with it. I still found it hard to believe that there were currently two little lives growing inside of me.
The sound of small feet running through the hallway outside the bedroom door knocked me out of my thoughts. I knew it was just Skai running around out there. I made my way back into the bathroom to finish getting ready.
Tonight, was the night of my grand opening. Adore Rose was up and ready. I honestly couldn't be more excited; however, I also can't help this feeling of anxiety. So many doubts ran through my mind.
What if my store was a complete flop? What if I put all this time and money into something that won't make it anywhere? What if I failed at my dream? What if I'm doing the wrong thing and I was meant for something else?
Before I knew it, I was having a hard time breathing. I closed my eyes, trying to get a grip. A few seconds later, I felt Julian's arms wrap around my waist gently.
"Ro, just breathe baby." He spoke gently against my ear. The hair from his beard tickled the side of my face. My breathing began to slow.
"Look at me." I opened my eyes, mine connecting with Julian's in the mirror.
My breathing began to normalize.
He planted a soft kiss on my shoulder blade. "I promise everything will be just fine."
Jules rested his hands against my stomach while I leaned into him. We stood like this for a minute just taking in each other's embrace. He backed away from me and turned me to face him.

My man was a sight to see with his green Puma sweat suit on. I wish he would have dressed up just a little more but it's perfectly okay. He's so damn fine, I love it. He looked into my eyes while questioning me, "What are you thinking about?"
I sighed. "Just a few doubts about the store."
"I promise you have nothing to worry about. Don't work yourself and my kids up over this." I smiled at him mentioning his kids.
"Okay, I'm fine."
"Good." He looked down at the Apple Watch that sat on his wrist. "Not even trying to rush you ma, but we really need to roll out within the next 45."
