Chapter 31

Sunday

Sitting up abruptly, I threw the covers off of me before swinging my legs over the side of the bed. My feet hit the floor before carrying me to the bathroom.

I barely turned the light switch on before I fell to my knees in front of the toilet, emptying all the contents of my stomach.

After a minute or so, I felt Julian rubbing my back.

He and Skai decided to stay the night last night instead of going home. At this moment, I was very grateful to have him here.

Once I was done, I flushed the toilet and took a seat on the edge of the tub.

"Get Skai out of my bed, I don't want her to get any of my germs. Especially if I have a stomach bug."

"Alright, i'll be right back."

I went over to the sink and rinsed my mouth with mouth wash before brushing my teeth.

My body felt weak and all I wanted to do was get back in the bed.

After cleaning my mouth, I turned the light off and made my way over to the bed. The clock on the nightstand read 9:11 AM.

I wrapped up in the covers and closed my eyes, a few seconds later Julian came back into the room.

"Here." He spoke.

I opened my eyes to see him holding some crackers and a sprite.

I closed my eyes and shook my head.

"I don't want it."

"You need it baby."

"Noooo. I just wanna go back to sleep."

Before he could speak, I spoke again.

"You and Skai need to leave, I don't want to get y'all sick."

"I'm not leaving you."

That was the last thing I heard him say before I drifted off to sleep.

I woke up with pains in my stomach. I got up and went to the bathroom.

I stayed in the bathroom for the next 15 minutes with diarrhea. I still felt a bit nauseous so after washing my hands, I laid back down on the bed beside Julian.

"Where's Skai?" I asked him.

"I had Freaky come get her."

"You need to leave to."

He shook his head.

"I'm about to take you to the hospital."

I closed my eyes. "I don't need to go to a hospital babe. I just need to take some Pepto and I'll be okay."

I started to feel sick again so I just laid there, hoping the feeling would pass. Unfortunately, it didn't and I was rushing to the bathroom again.
