Saturday
It's almost 3 o'clock in the afternoon and I still haven't talked to Rosanna. She's been ignoring my calls and texts since last night. I even went by her house last night but she wouldn't open the door.
It definitely wasn't my intentions to hurt her. I don't even know why Wayno said the ignorant shit that he said.
"Would you like these flowers delivered?" The cashier spoke.
"Yeah."
"To what address?"
"1311 Westchester Lane."
The girl nodded.
I was currently buying Rosanna flowers as a small I'm sorry gesture. I know I have a lot of making up to do but I'm hoping this will be a step in the right direction.
"Okay, so that's 4 dozen tulips delivered to 1311 Westchester Lane. Correct?"
"Yeah."
"Your total is $167.23"
I pulled out my credit card and swiped it.
She printed the receipt and handed it to me.
"Have a good day."
"Thanks."
I headed out the flower shop and got in my car.
I was gonna give them about 2 hours to deliver the flowers to Rosanna before I dropped by her house. In the meantime, I was going to go by my moms house.
After almost 30, I was pulling up in front of my mom's crib.
I got out the car, going up to the door and to my surprise it was locked. I knocked and waited for mom to come open the door.
A few seconds later, I heard the locks turning and the door opened revealing my mother.
"Hey ma." I greeted her.
She stepped aside allowing me to come in.
"Hey Jules."
I noticed it was quiet and I didn't hear the sound of babbling or little feet hitting the floor.
"Skai sleep?"
"Mhm. She just fell asleep about an hour ago."
"I'll go get her."
"Well wait a minute. Sit down and talk to your mama Jules. I feel like we haven't talked in days, you've been so been stuck up that girl's ass." She rolled her eyes.
I rolled my eyes too because I was in no mood for my mother's judgemental and rude comments right now.
I love my mother to death but she could be a bit on the less mature side sometimes.
I took a seat on the couch while she sat on the other couch across from me.
"Why do you look so down? What's wrong?"
