Wednesday"The night we met I had went on a date. A bad date at that, the guy was cocky and arrogant. He sat and talked about himself the whole night, he even tried to order for me without knowing anything about the type of foods I like or any of that." She rolled her eyes.
"Well I left the date early, then a few days later I saw him in the Bistro down the street from the bank and he was trying to talk to me and whatnot. When I was leaving, he yelled at me and told me 'this isn't over.' but I didn't think anything of if, really."
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, was that supposed to be a threat?
"So after work today, I went to get me a drink from the Bistro and he was in there. He was all in my face and I told him I had a boyfriend then he got mad. That's when he grabbed my arms and was yelling in my face and stuff."
"And ain't nobody in that fucking restaurant do shit?!" I yelled as I stood up from the bed.
That bitch ass nigga had me fucked up. First, he calls himself threatening my girl then he had the audacity to put his hands on her. He lucky I don't know shit about him or I'd put his ass in a body bag. Fuck outta here.
Rosanna crawled towards the edge of the bed to where I was standing and stood on her knees.
"It's okay, I was a little shaken up but i'm fine baby."
I shook my head. "Rosanna! Look at your fucking arms," I grabbed one of her arms, "that nigga left his fucking hand prints on you. This shit not okay!"
I took a deep breath because I was yelling like it was her fault. I know it wasn't but I'm just so angry.
"I don't mean to yell at you ma. It just makes me angry to know somebody put their hands on you. All I want to do is protect you, you don't deserve no shit like this." I shook my head.
"I know. But I'm going to take care of it."
"How?"
"I'm going to press charges."
I nodded. It probably wouldn't do much but I'll let her handle it her way first and if the nigga come back, I'ma handle him my way.
"Alright bae."
"Give me a kiss." She closed her eyes and puckered her lips.
I laughed because she lowkey looked silly.
She opened her eyes and straight faced me. "Why the fuck you laughing?"
I straightened my face as best as I could.
"No reason ma." I began to lean in and kiss her but she turned and started to go back to her side of the bed.
"Nope. Should've kissed me when you had the chance"
I grabbed her ankle and pulled her back to me.
"I still got a chance girl, whatchu mean?"
I leaned over her as she laid back on the bed.
