My inner world
That not many
Get to see
Locked away inside
In shrouds
Of secrets
And mystery
A dream once
Passed me by
And perhaps
It'll come to life
And it'll shine out
From within
And take away
The strife
Maybe you'll see
Music notes
At my fingers
And rain drops
In my hair
Moonlight from
My cloak
And the sound
Of crashing waves
Here and there
Perhaps you'll see
Wind and storms
And a tempest
Rather fierce
Or maybe
You'll see a
Meadow
Speckled with
Sunny tears
A forest even
With a lonely
Broken piano
You might even
Catch a glimpse
Of the castle
Far below
Or maybe there's
A whale
Swimming through
My eyes
Revealing my fear
And courage
And not backing
Out from
My fight
But even still
You might just
Notice
That there's
A smile
Upon my face
That you'd never
See out here
In this wild
And scary place.~fin~
