I looked around at the red and black streamers. I sat down on my regular seat and Caleb sat behind me.

"What are they doing?" He asked as he saw girls putting up a sign that said:

"Go! Go Cheetas!"

"Oh the big game is coming up. Every year our school has a national game between the states best schools." I said.

"Well what games do you guys do." He asked interested.

"Well we challenge other schools to a sport or art of our choosing. So we could challenge them to a soccor game or a singing competition. Then we would choose the best people in our school to represent us." I said excited.

"That sounds exciting. Do students get to see the games?" He asked.

"Yeah students get in for free. Although I've never been to a game before." I said trying to think of when I did. Dad took me to a Royals baseball game once...but that was when I was six. So I guess that doesn't count.

"Well I guess you will this year." He said putting a dumb smile on his face. I smiled back and looked out the window.

"Oh. And we have another photo shoot in the park today." He said and I nodded. I gazed out the window and lookedbat the snow on the ground. I wonder what Mom is doing... I wonder if she's eaten the food I bought.

I listened to the music of the band play. I sat in the audiance on the bleachers. It was May now. Months have passed and everything was going fine. Caleb sat beside me laughing at a joke his friend told him. Grace sat next to me and laughed too. We became true friends this time. We were at the last game we had to face. So far we have won every single one and I saw all of them. Thanks to Caleb. I looked down as the football players ran across the green, fresh mowed and watered grass. As the players ran across the field the crowd roared as we made another touchdown ending the game.

"Woohoo!" I called out and laughed. We won alk of the games, which makes us undeafeted for five years in a row. We tranfered out of the stadium and out onto the streets. Grace and Calebs friend said goodbye as their parents picked them up.

Caleb and I walked home together. We walked into a convienent store and I went to grab a soda. I came back to Caleb holding a cracker jack box with a stupid grin on his face. I shook my head and smiled. As soon as we walked out of the store with our ourchased items,  Cakeb opened the cracker jack box and started eating. We talked for a while as we walked. Caleb then stopped and turned the box upside down and out fell a little package. I turned around and looked at him. He looked like a little kid when he opened it and pulled out a braclet with different beads and red string holding it together.

"Well I can't wear this." He said laughing. I laughed too and I felt him pick my arm up and make me hold it there.

"What are you doing?" I asked as he moved my black jacket sleeve and start to tie it around my wrist.

"Like I said...I can't wear it." He said smiling.

"This is so cliche you know that right?" I asked laughing. We started walking again and he looked at me and asked:

"Whats wrong with cliche?" I smiled at him and we kept walking.

I looked at the sun setting and sighed a little.
