"jimin?" yoongi yawned as he opened the door.
"d-did i wake you?" jimin asked nervously.
"no, no. i was just getting tired. why're you here so late?" yoongi let him in.
"can-can i stay the night?" jimin trembled.
"yeah, of course. is everything okay?" yoongi closed the door behind him. noticing jimin didn't answer, he sighed. "let's go lay down." yoongi led jimin into his room. jimin sat on the right side of the bed as yoongi joined him on the left. "you wanna talk about it?"
jimin surprised yoongi by shifting to his side and hugging yoongi. jimin buried his face in yoongi's chest and began crying. yoongi was shocked, he's never seen this side of jimin. he was vulnerable, and that means so much. yoongi wrapped his arms around the younger and let him cry. he didn't say anything; nothing was needed to be said. jimin held onto yoongi as if it's the last time they'll ever meet. yoongi held onto him to reassure he's safe and can tell him anything. jimin was crying uncontrollably in yoongi's chest for 3 minutes, holding onto yoongi.
"you feeling okay?" yoongi rubbed circles in his back.
"i-i'm scared." jimin sniffled.
"of?"
"losing you." jimin admitted.
"what do you mean? you'll never lose me." yoongi reassured him.
"i was offered a job opportunity of a lifetime in auckland, new zealand. my parents want me to take it." jimin sniffled.
"when?" yoongi felt his heart beat fast.
"in june," jimin's muffled voice spoke, "just please don't let me go."
"i'll never let you go."
