"i'll be right back." yoongi slips his shoes and jacket on.
"where're you going?" jimin wonders.
"i'm gonna pick up a few things from the convenience store. i'll be right back and i'll make it quick." yoongi promises.
"okay, be safe." jimin looks out for him.
"i will, love, don't worry. i love you." yoongi gives him a kiss.
"i love you too." jimin kisses back.
yoongi left the building, walking down the now-dark streets towards the convenience store. he passed by dark alleys that made him really suspicious and a tad bit scared. he shook off the feeling and entered the convenience store. he grabbed a few things he wanted and paid for them, heading back out. he tried to walk faster to hurry back to jimin's. he felt a figure following him yet he didn't dare turn around. he continued walking and tried to lose the guy, yet it wasn't possible. he quickly made a route back to jimin's and halfway there, someone caused him to fall.
yoongi struggled to get up as the person beat him repeatedly. he tried his best to fight back yet his attacker didn't let him at all. yoongi was left there, breathing heavily as black clouds surrounded his vision. he remembers mumbling jimin's name and trying to call him on his phone. all his strength was lost when the attacker came back and hit his head with a brick.
meanwhile, jimin was sitting at home, wondering why yoongi was taking forever to come back. he texted and left a few calls yet none were ever responded. he felt worried, wondering if something bad had happened to him. he called up seokjin and namjoon and asked them to help him find yoongi. they were out, searching the places near the convenience store.
"jimin!" namjoon screamed. his head whipped back to see namjoon down a dark hallway. jimin rushed up to him only to find yoongi unconscious.
"yoongi!" jimin burst into tears, falling to his knees and laying his head on yoongi's chest. "yoongi-ah, wake up." jimin cries. "yoongi!"
"jimin, the ambulance is on its way." seokjin appears.
"yoongi." jimin cried. yoongi laid unconscious, blood spewing from his head. cuts and bruises were everywhere. "please wake up, i love you." jimin kisses his face all over. "yoongi." jimin cries.
the ambulance arrived shortly, picking up yoongi and jimin sat beside him as namjoon and seokjin rushed to the hospital behind. they contacted jimin's family as they had no way to contact yoongi's family. jimin held his hand the whole time, pressing soft kisses here and there. jimin was a wreck, he couldn't stop crying and calling out for yoongi. when they rolled yoongi into the emergency room and told jimin he couldn't be back there, he couldn't help but fall to his knees and sob.
"jimin." namjoon tried getting him up.
"i don't want to lose him, hyung, i love him too much. i won't be able to take it. i-i need him." jimin sobbed.
"i know, bud, but you've got to get off the floor." seokjin gets to his other side.
"yoongi." jimin cries once again.
