{A/N} Hey people...! I'm sorry I haven't updated this story for almost? A month?
I actually struggle this semester because I was privileged enough to receive a lecturer whom all my coursemate and I 'hate' and that subject is pretty tough and I do think of retiring from this shenanigans but nahhh.....

Anyways, here is the long awaited Chapter 24!!!
ENJOY!

HUNTER

Hunter punched Luca's chest and followed by punching his jaw. "More power!" Luca instructed. Obeying, Hunter grunted and turned his body and high-kicked Luca's head. Luca's fell onto the stage and chuckled.

"You got me there." Luca's voice cracked, it must had hurt. Hunter did kick him with his might. Hunter lent out his hand to him. "Too much power, huh?"

Luca scoffed and gave him a pass. "Let me lay down for a bit, my head is spinning."

The Laskov cousins were in a boxing alley for already seem like three hours. Wanting to let off some steam, Hunter agreed to meet Luca here to kick his ass. It was not like Hunter has anything to do either. Everyone in his Bratva asked him to stay low for a moment until they could catch the Rogue greenie asses for messing with them.

Haru also wasn't home either. It was her sister's birthday, so her family was going to celebrate it this evening. The house felt empty. Even when today was Hunter's birthday too. Yet knowing Pynita's plan for a dinner tonight, Hunter felt a little okay, at least one people still treat today as his birthday, not someone's Memorial Day.

"You seem off for the past few weeks. Is it because today-" There you go. Talk about birthdays, sighed.

"Yes, but not that, mostly." Hunter followed Luca and lay down beside him. The ring light on the low ceiling made his eyes squinted. He needed his glasses.

    "It's..."

"Haru?" Luca interrupted. Hunter nodded lightly. He was confused about her after the night he let it all out. Hunter never talked about Kiseki that deeply to anyone since his death, but when it comes to Haru, her calm expression yet her caring gestures made him spilled all of it. He always felt... safe being with her. And he liked every moment of it.

Yet, he felt like he was betraying Kiseki.

"He didn't ask you to be miserable, you know..." Luca answered his thought. "Isn't three years enough?" Hunter turned his head at his cousin, his mouth parted open to say something but got interrupted.

"Yesterday morning?" Luca asked. Hunter's eyebrow rose in denial.

"What's with yesterday morning?" Luca elbowed him when Hunter pretended it didn't happen.

"I saw it asshole. What's wrong with you? Do feel something, anything, towards her?"

    "Trust me. I don't...."

"No." Luca stared back at him. Both of them been born with sets of ocean blue eyes; the eye colour of the Laskov family. They had always been close. Luca had helped him with a lot of things growing up; how to punch, how to shoot, how to accept the death of someone you love. Although Luca seemed a little bit bulkier than Hunter, Luca had always been more feisty and more quick of knowing someone's feelings; especially Hunter's.

"The thing is Hunter," Luca sighed and look up to the lights. "Often our first love comes when we're young. They were like fairy tales. It's an idealistic kind of love. Your first love seems perfect, too perfect."
