{A/N} I FINALLY read a book after being on a miserable Korean dramas marathon for two months. I finished The Raven King (Last book of The Raven Boys) and I'm still emotional about it. I've followed that series for three years and I love it. Ronan Lynch is my smol son T__T

So, here's Chapter 6!

ENJOY! - Amni

HUNTER

Haru lived in a townhouse housing area on the near outsides of Brooklyn. The houses were two stories high but small in width. She lived in a blue painted house, there was a small fence that had been painted with white and a small garage that only could fit one car. The driver stopped the car in front of the house. Pynita fixed her hair and asked Hunter about her makeup, which made Hunter went out the car first without answering his mama.

Ignoring his mama loud yielding to him, he rang the doorbell and waited for the door to open. He heard a muffling sound inside; like two kids fighting. It was spring and it sure did freezing, Hunter shivered and shoved his hand in his pants' pockets.

The door finally open and a guy appeared in front of him. "Is this my Haru's house?" Hunter asked. He didn't know why he suddenly felt attack because there was a guy in Haru's house. And he was quite of a looker too. The guy blinked at his question, then, all of Hunter's doubt stopped when he saw her.

Hunter's gaze stopped directly at her. At first he wanted to laugh because of Haru's poop hair, and then he stared down at her; she was wearing a baggy grey t-shirt and a light blue pyjama pants that has artistic owls drawings on it. It surprised him how nice her skin actually was. He thought she had covered it with foundation on their first met, but really, standing in front of him, obviously hasn't showered yet, her milky skin were smooth looking and he wondered how pretty she was just looking like that.

Ish, Hunter! Stop it!

Well, Pynita was the one who broke the awkward silence. His mama was so delighted to meet his betrothed in person that she came running to hug Haru.

O Bozhe...

The living room was small, Hunter thought when he first entered the house.

"I'm sorry the living room is a mess." Hiro, which introduced himself as the head of the family said as he escorted Hunter and Pynita to the living room. He then hissing to a little girl who was occupied the living room, making a craft with the television was on to leave the room.

The two Laskovs sat on the too fluffy sofa that couldn't even consider being comfortable. Hunter placed his trench coat on the armchair and gazed at Hiro who awkwardly smiled at them. "So, you Haru's brother?"

"Definitely. And, the little girl you just saw is our sister."

"You look really mature for a seventeen-year-old..." Hunter mumbled. He had read about Haru's siblings' profiles since before he met them. His papa gave every significant information Hunter needs to get to know his betrothed better.

"Well, maybe because I'm tall." Hiro grinned. "You look like a ravishing young man." Pynita gave him a warm smile.

Okay, maybe Hunter sounded rude, but he couldn't believe how the guy in front of him was Haru's little brother. Sure, his hair was black, like hers, but his skinny figure and his slight tanner skin and his charming personality gave Hunter doubts. Pynita was right when she said Hiro was ravishing. Instead of looking boyish, he looked like a fully developed man. He was taller than Hunter (Hunter was 6'1) and looked more neat and handsome even when he was only wearing a white t-shirt and pajama pants.
