HUNTER

It felt like the world around him was spinning. He couldn't concentrate, fuck, he couldn't ever hear any sound except for the buzzing noise piercing through his ears around him right now. It has been years since he saw Nijiiro. He thought he was ready to face him, he even wanted to see him on the day of his wedding but to his demise, and expected, Nijiiro didn't come.

Hunter was a little bit relieved when Nijiiro didn't come but he felt so guilty, he felt so guilty that when he finally saw Nijiiro, the boy that he treated like a little brother since he was nineteen, the boy who his passion on music was huge, looked angry when he saw him, Hunter felt his heart broke again.

He should have let Nijiiro punch him then. Nijiiro would like that.

"Hunter!!" A cry made his thoughts collapsed. He turned around to see the girl with a short black hair struggling to let go of his grip. "It hurts, please." Haru pleaded.

"Oh, sorry." He quickly let go. Her wrist was red, he must have gripped her so hard. His fingers rubbed his brows, he sighed, "I'm sorry, Haru. I just- fuck!" His dizziness started to worsen, he was breathing hard, as if the air around him were almost to none.

"Hey, hey...shhh." Haru gripped his shoulders to calm him down. She instructed him to squat on the bricked road slowly. He followed, "Pressed your head until it reached your knees and then breathe slowly. Follow me."

He inhaled following her voice, "Breath in; 1...2...3...4...5...6...7 and breath out; 1...2...3...4...5...6...7...." He looked up to see her calm face but worried eyes. He held up his hand to gripped hers and place her knuckle on his forehead. He breathing started to calm and slow. While her hand on his forehead, Haru used her free hand to ran her fingers through his hair.

His mind kept flashing his memories three years ago, the memories that made him happy but also destroyed him. The face of his deceased lover, Kiseki, his goofy but charming smile, his crazy personality, his jet black hair, his warmth, everything that keep Hunter sane, actually kept Hunter from getting up.

Why now...why now?

Why now when he was trying to move on? Why now when he was ready to forget everything that happened to Kiseki, why now Nijiiro came and worst, made Haru knew him?

Why now...why now...why now?

The light stroke on his hair was starting to calm him down, her small, cold hand and the one he held were actually burning out the heat in his heart and the rambling memories that he needed to forget. Whatever happens, he needed to protect Haru, after the shooting accident, he had become a little bit paranoid and tried to stay away from her, as long she was safe from being the target. Yet, it didn't quite happen like he wanted to happen.

He needed to protect her, if not, she would end up like Kiseki and he didn't need that.

HARU

Inside the car, Hunter was leaning on his left side, on the squeaky clean, tinted window. He was breathing softly, almost like he was sleeping. Haru's leg kept on jiggling while looking at him. Making sure he was okay.

"Master, your friends are there already." The driver informed Hunter. From the reviewer mirror, the driver's locked eyes at Haru. The driver was the same driver when the shooting happened.
