Chapter 18

Tris POV: October 30 11:45 p.m.
"Christina! Christina!" I scream. She runs into my room.
"What?!? Omigosh! We need to get you to the hospital.
We got to the hospital 20 minutes later.
"Wait what if I can't make it." I shout.
"You're going to make it. I will be with you the whole time." Christina says. They rush me to the ER. I hold on to Christina's hand.
"It's ok just listen to the doctor." She says.
"Push!" the doctor screams.
"No I can't!"
"Push!"
I squeeze Christina's hand.
"Push!"
Then I black out.

"Tris Prior. You have a healthy baby girl, 7 pounds. What are you gonna name her?" The doctor says while putting her in my arms.
"Crystal Rose Eaton." I say. "Christina please don't tell Four. And if he ask where I am just tell him I will back in a few weeks."
"I promise."
"Thank you for putting up with me."
"I can always put up with my best friend." she says while hugging me. "But I gotta get to school. I'm gonna get your homework too. I will pick you up after school. Bye!"

Few week later:
"Hey Tris you ready to go? I got the car seat set up. We're going to leave Crystal with the babysitter I hired and buy stuff for her room." says Christina.
"Ok." I say.
We get to my house and reluctantly give Crystal to the babysitter named Kelly. I head to the mall to buy clothes and toys. 30 minutes later we are putting things in place for Crystal's room.
"Chrissy do you just want to sleepover tonight?" I ask her.
"Yea, You she has you hair. The same ombré color, she has both your faces, but Four's eyes.

We fall asleep on the floor of Crystal's room. I wake up the next morning at 6:30 a.m. I take a shower. I walk to my room, put on my blue romper, my black high tops, and look at myself in the mirror. I have lost the baby weight but it looks like puberty hit me hard.
I let Christina sleep, I'll wake her up at 7:00. I go downstairs and watch tv while eating cereal. Then Christina walks downstairs.
"Morning. How are you feeling?" She asks me.
"I am not sure how things will go at school. But I am fine." Its 8:00 and Kelly shows up, so we walk to school.
When we get to school Uriah, Zeke, Shauna, Lynn, Marlene, and Will engulf me with hugs.
"Where were you?" Lynn asked me.
"Oh you know, just around." I say.
"Whatever, we need to get to class." Christina says with a fake laugh. I give her a 'thank you so much' look.
We race to class but then I run in Tobias.
"Sorry. I didn't see you..." he starts but then he sees me.
"Hey Tris! I haven't seen you in months! I've missed you." He says while hugging me.
"I have missed you too! But let's get to class." I say.
The rest of the day is a blur.
"Hey Tris let me walk you home." Tobias says.
"No I can walk myself home."
"Well that's too bad. I have to walk my girlfriend home."
I sigh in defeat.
"So what did you do this summer?" he asks me.
"Oh, I sat at home a lot."
"Oh well you look good."
I laugh. "Thanks. Well bye." I say walking up my driveway.
He waves at me. I sigh relieved. As soon as I open the door Kelly looks like she is in a rush.
"Hey Tris! I gotta go. But Crystal was great!" she says as she runs out the door. I giggle.
"Thanks!" I shout as she turns and run.

I walk up the stairs to my room with Crystal in my arms.
"Who is that?" I hear Tobias say.

Shit. What am I gonna do?
