Chapter 44

Tris POV:
I awake in a bed half naked. Christina is right next to me. I shake a little bit and move the bed and she gets up.
"Where are we?" She asks.
"I don't know."
"Ladies. You are up, finally."
"Marcus stop."
"No. I love you."
"Shut up."
He kisses my neck and then Chris's.
Our cheeks and a tear slips down mine.
He kisses it. He presses himself against me. And kisses my neck again.
He kisses my lip, neck, my chest, and tries to unhook my bra. I am trying to push him off and he won't budge. I am fighting with him and he crashes his lips upon mine.
I knee him where it counts. He drops to the floor.
Christina and I kick and punch him a few times.
We grab a sweatshirt and run out the door with only a huge shirt on.
I can't run anymore so I just drop to the floor crying.
Lynn walks out of the house we are in front of.
"Oh my gosh! Was it him."
I try to speak but more sobs come out. So I just nod.
"I will take you guys home."
We start walking to my house.
When we get there no one is in the house.
So we walk upstairs and take showers.
I scrub Marcus off my body.
But I still feel violated.
I am crying again.
Lynn and Christina leave.
I have been in the shower for two hours, crying.
"Tris? Tris are you in there?" It's Tobias.
I am sobbing.
"Tris I know you are in there?"
No answer.
"Tris I am coming in."
The sob racks my whole body. I pull my knees to my chest.
Tobias opens the curtain, turns off the shower, wraps a towel around me, and lift me up.
"Tris. What's wrong?" He asks me.
I am still crying.
"Tell me."
"Y-your dad tried to rape me. That's why I wouldn't kiss you. When I wanted to tell you, you broke up with me." I manage to say and start sobbing again.
Tobias wraps his arms and around me and I bury my face in his chest.
"I will kill him. You don't deserve that. I am so sorry." He says.
I cry into his shirt.
He kisses my forehead, my nose, my cheek, and my lips.
The electric sparks flow through me giving me goosebumps.
"Did you that too?" He asks me.
"Yea."
"I want you back."
"I love you."
"I need and love you."
"I love you more."
"I love you most."
"Impossible."
"Forever."
"And always."
I fall asleep with my head on his chest.

I get a call the next morning.
"EEEEEEK!" It's Christina.
"Too loud much?"
"Me and Will got back together!"
"Yay!"
"So cheerleading practice after school for the tournament."
"EEEEEEEK!"
"Too loud much?" She says.
We giggle.
"So where your uniform today at school."
"Ok."
I hang up the phone.
"Good morning, princess Beauty."
I laugh.
"Good morning, prince Charming."
I kiss his cheek.
"I will be right back."
I take a quick shower and walk to my closet. I through on my cheerleading uniform.
Tobias climbs through the window.
"You look very good in uniform." He says.
I sit on his lap.
"Trissy you have a fat ass!"
"Oh please. Everything about you is big."
"Everything?" He says with a eyebrow raised.
I nod. Then realization hits me.
"YOU DIRTY GOAT!" I shout.
He smirks.
"Can we talk about something else? I'd rather not talk about my di--"
"Fuck you."
"No I'd rather do it to you."
I giggle and we walk to school.
I see the group and I freeze.
Tobias gives me a reassuring squeeze.
We walk over to them and they hug me.
"We're so sorry! Lynn told us everything. No one deserves to be treated that way." Shauna says and she gives me another hug.
I hug them back.
"So today we were talking about my--" Tobias gets cut off.
"Shhh!" I shout.
"No. No. I want to hear this."
"So Tris was talking about my--"
I cut him off by kissing him.
I pull back, he looks lovestruck. I smirk.
"Now can we--" Peter starts.
"Come on Four and Christina we have to go." I say.
I grab their arms and start running.
Tobias laughs and I glare at him.
"We have to get to Chemistry." Tobias says.
Christina and I stop dead in our tracks.
"Marcus." I squeak out.
"I will protect you. Don't worry. Both of you."
We walk to the room and Marcus is the only one there.
"Where is everyone?" I ask.
"They are outside doing a project. So we can have a little fun." Marcus says.
Christina and I back away but the guys from yesterday block the door.
Marcus starts to walk over to me but Four punches him.
"Don't touch her ever again."
The guys pick me up.
"Let me go!" I yell.
Christina kicks one of them and I elbow one of them in the nose. I turn around and kick them both where the sun don't shine.
"Come on. We need to get to Max."
We run to Max's office.
"Max! Please help me! Marcus tried to rape us. Just help us." I say between tears.
He pulls me into a hug.
"I will protect you. No matter what." Max says.
"Four, you are Tris's bodyguard. You look like you are up to it. Christina, Will will (will will, yeah yeah ignore it lol) be your bodyguard. I will inform him right now."
He gets on the computer and starts typing.
He nods at us and we leave.
"Wanna do something fun Chrissy?" O ask her.
She nods vigorously.
I start running in the grass. I do a triple handspring and land with a split.
"Once a cheerleader always a cheerleader." She says.
"You know it. Now you try it." I say.
She does the same. I clap.
"Come on girls let's go." Tobias says and we run to the art room before anyone gets there. But Tori is already there.
"Hey there." She says.
"Hey." We says in unison.
"So since you guys are here you can get drawing. Draw something. Anything." Tori says.
We grab a note pad and begin drawing.
I draw the sea of tears again. This time it's in the moonlight. No one is in the boat. It is just caught.
I add color to it.
"Beautiful." Tobias says.
I turn to see him over my shoulder.
I smile and he kisses my cheek.
Then the bell rings and everybody gets to work. Christina, Tobias, and I just sit in a corner laughing, throwing things at each other, and talking.

It's cheerleading practice and we are practicing for the tournament.
We practice our Break Your Heart, Disturbia, and Firework routines.
When we are done, I go to the shower rooms to take a quick shower. When I am done, I wrap a towel around me. I feel as if I am being watched. I turn around and see no one.
Someone drops something.
"Hello?"
No answer.
"Hello?"
No answer.
I quickly change and walk out of the shower.
Tobias is waiting for me by the door.
"Were you in the showers trying to scare me?" I ask him.
He shakes his head. I panic.
"Why, was there someone in there?"
"I don't know but let's go."
We walk to my house and I get an idea.
"Oh! Lightbulb!" I say.
"What now Princess Squeak?" Tobias says.
I pout.
"I thought I was Princess Beauty."
He chuckles.
"Anyways we can have a bake sale. All the cheerleaders." I say.
"Yea. And I can be a critic." He says.
"But you are gonna love what we make. Anyways I have to get printing."
"Just leave that to me."
I nod and text all the cheerleaders.
We r having a bake sale! For next week.

Tobias comes back with a bunch of flyers. I hug him.
"Prince Technical." I say.
"He would much appreciate a kiss."
I plant on his lips and he deepens it.
