Tris POV:
It's the first day of spring and I am rell happy. I wake up to a smiling Crystal.
"Good morning Bubbles." I say and she giggles. I pick her up and Tobias climbs through the window.
"Right on time. Take her. Let me go take a shower." I say.
"Good morning to you too Princess." He says. I giggle and kiss his cheek.
I walk to the bathroom and turn on the shower. I come out fifteen minutes later. I walk to my closet and grab a black skirt, a blue shirt, and my blues converse. I through them on and walk out of my closet.
We walk downstairs and I grab an apple.
Anna comes racing down the stairs.
"Good morning Tris and Bubbles. Morning Four." She grabs an apple. "Bye Tris and Bubbles. Bye Four." She yells as she runs out the door. I giggle. Kelly walks in.
"Hey Kelly. We will see you later." I say as we walk out the door.
Cara gets out today and we are going to pick her up for school. I brought her some clothes. Over the last few months I have grown very close to Cara. I jump on Tobias's back and he walks to the jailhouse.
"Hey Cara. I brought you some clothes." I say.
"Thank you." She grabs the clothes and walks to the bathroom.
"She will have a patrol officer." Max says. I hug him.
"You really do look like your mother. And you act just like her." He says.
I laugh.
"Thank you."
Then I swear I see Tobias's face fall as Marcus walks in.
"FOUR WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN!?!" He yells.
He is drunk.
"Oh you have been with this. I can see why you chose her. She is beautiful." He says and touches my cheek and I swat his hand away. I back away from him
Max and Tobias growl at him
He laughs and say, "I will have you." And he walks out. I get scared.
Tobias wraps me in his embrace. I hug him.
Then Cara walks out.
She walks out. Her hair is longer. Its goes to the middle of her back.
Her eyes are celery green.
"Come on let's go." I say.
We walk out.
When we get to the school, everyone looks at Cara.
"Look it's the murderer.!" Someone shouts.
"I hope she doesn't kill someone else." Someone else shouts.
"Where are her minions?" A girls says.
"Probably out doing her dirty work." A boy shouts.
"Leave her alone." I shout.
"What are you talking about. She killed you brother." The boy shouts again.
Those words were like a punch in the stomach. I turn red and tears start running down my face. I start running.
I run to the art room.
I will draw my feelings out. I get a bunch of paper and draw. I draw and draw.
I don't know what I am drawing. I am just drawing.
When I am done I look at it.
I drew a picture of a boat in a see of tears. Someone is in the boat. They are scared,
A hand touches my shoulder. It's Cara.
"Are you OK?" She asks.
I want to nod but I stand up and cry on her shoulders.
"Tris, listen to me. They have no right to judge you. Caleb loves you. He always has and he always will." she says.
I nod.
"Thank you Cara." She nods and walks out the door.
Tori walks in and Cara walks out.
"That is beautiful." She says.
"Thank you."
"Can I use it for a contest?"
"Yea. Sure."
"You are a beautiful artist."
The bell rings.
"Thanks but I gotta go."
I walk out of her room and Christina loops her arm with mine.
"Hey Tris. You feeling OK?"
I nod and we start talking about things to do after school.
"We can have a spa day." I suggest.
"Yes!" she says.
"So it's settled we are have a spa day." She says in a singsong voice.
"Today we will be dissecting pig brains! And experimenting it." Ms. Matthew says excitedly.
I think I just died.
I put on the lab coat and goggles. The pig brains gets to our table.
"Tris. You can do it." Christina says.
"No that's fine you go ahead."
"I will do it." Tobias says.
We smile at him thankfully.
Then we pull out a green chemical and pour it on the pig brain.
A toxic vapor fulls my nostrils. I start to black out.
"Ms. Matthew! Tris is about to faint." Christina shouts.
"Tr--"
I black out.
