Chapter 30

Tris POV: Time Square, NY
It's New Year's Eve! It's 30 seconds til the ball drops. Everyone of my friends are here. Anna and the twins are back in Chicago with Tobias's.
The count down begins.
"10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!"
Everyone is cheering. I turn to give Tobias my first kiss. We kiss and we hug.
Taylor Swift starts sing Love Story and I sing along. Then I get a call.
"Hello?"I say.
"Happy Birthday!" Anna say.
"Thank you so much! Are you having fun?"
"Yes, we're having a makeover."
I laugh and we say our goodnights.
I walk to the lobby and they celebrating.

I walk back to my hotel room and lay down on the couch. I saw Lauren kissing Tobias and I am crying.
We are going back to Chicago at 8:00 but it's 2:00 am.
So I take a quick nap and wake up at 6:00. I take a shower and put on my blue New Year's crop top and red jeans with my electric wedges. I wake up everyone except Tobias. I walk to his room and he is already up. He is wearing a electric blue shirt with the electric blue vans Christina bought for him.
"Four. It's time to go." I say. I am about to walk out but he grabs my wrist and begins to kiss me. I kiss him back.
We break apart.
"I am sorry. She kissed me."
"I forgive you."
"Happy Birthday." He says and he puts a necklace around my neck.
He kisses me again.
"This is my first kiss of the New Years."
I blush.
We walk back outside hand in hand.
"Great! You guys are back together. That's good. Now let's get to the airport." Christina says.
We go to the front of the hotel and Marlene is trying to hail a cab. She is not doing so well. So I stop her, put my two fingers in my mouth, and whistle.
Two cabs stop. Everyone looks at me.
I shrug.
"Come on guys the meter is running."
I jump in the car with the girls and all the guys go together. While we are in the cab, everyone is telling me Happy Birthday.
"Ugh I don't know what to do for my birthday." I say.
They all shrug. We get to the airport am get on the plane.

When we get to my house, it's about 12 pm, the group is talking without me. So I walk up to them and try to listen but they stop talking.
"Tris! We have to go to the mall! Come on let's go! Just you and me." Christina shouts.
She grabs my hand and we run out the door. I laugh.
We go to the mall and go to the dress store.
We shop for 5 hours.
"Chrissy! We've been shopping for hours and it's 5 o'clock! Can we go home now?" I plead.
"Yea but we need to get you dressed up for a party. So let's stop by my place. and we will head to your place and
I am very confused but I nod.
When we get to Christina's house, she puts me in a electric blue dress (I know a lot of electric blue.) and red open toe heels.
Then we get to my house and all the lights are off.
"I wonder what they are doing in there." I say. Christina just shrugs. U open the door.
"SURPRISE!"
I stop and begin to cry.
"Awwwww. She is crying tears of joy!" Christina says.
I laugh.
"Thank you so much!" I say while hugging her.
"The hostess is part of this but the host helped just as much." She says.
"You thought it was just her. I am hurt." Tobias says.
I turn around, throw my arms around his neck, and kiss him.
"Awwwwwwww." Everyone says. I pull back and blush.
"Now let the party begin!" Christina shouts.

We dance and I got a lot of gifts.
They all gave me Katy Perry Prism. It cost a lot of me.
Tobias gave me a bracelet with the symbols: selfless, peace, honesty, bravery, and intelligence. Caleb gave me a sapphire necklace. Justin got me a Peach colored crop top. I hug them all.
This was my best birthday ever. But then....
Next Day:
"Tobias why are Cara and Lauren calling you!? And why are you trying to hide it from me!?" I shout.
"None your damn business! So shut up!" He shouts back. He turns into Four. The cruel guy.
"Get out of my house and here!" I shout and throw the promise ring at him. It hits him in the chest. I have tears streaming down my eyes.
"Just get out." I say. I open the door. He rushes past me and slams the door.
Thank God, Anna isn't here.
But then I hear three girls scream and I open the door to see the twins and Anna crying.
"H-he--" June starts but I pull all three of them into my embrace.
"Shh. It's ok." I say. They are shaking with fear. I put them to sleep in Anna's room.
And I cry myself to sleep.
