Chapter 46

Tris POV:
I wake up the next morning with Tobias on my lap.
I am careful not to wake him.
I take a 15 minute. I put on my denim shorts, a tight black shirt that stop above my belly button, and my black high tops. I blow dry and straighten my hair and I put on a little bit of lip gloss.
I walk downstairs and Tobias walks through the front door.
"Good morning." He says.
"Good morning." I say.
We walk out the door to school.

"I am teaching today because Coach Amar is sick. Cheerleaders can practice! Everyone else can watch." Rochelle shout.
We do our routines and everyone's mouth hang open.
And they start clapping.
The bell rings. I change into my clothes and walk out.
Tobias has his back turned, so I jump on his back.
I kiss his cheek.
"Onward, my trusty steed." I say.
He starts running and I laugh.

We are at the cheerleading tournament. The two finalists are Amity High and Divergent High.
Amity goes first.
"Divergent High."
We walk up, we're doing the Break Your Heart routine.
We end with no mistakes.
We stand huddled together, fingers crossed.
"The winners are...."
Everyone closes there eyes.
"Divergent High!"
We start cheering, jumping up.
Tobias hugs me and spins me around then kisses me.
All the cheerleaders run up to get our trophy.
"Divergent! Divergent!" Everyone chants.
We run on the bus and start cheering.
Zeke and Uriah are throwing a party for us.
We have the bus driver drive us to my house.
Then we quickly change. We put on our blue and black dresses with black open toe heels.
When we get to Zeke and Uriah's house, everyone is cheering for us.
"Congrats!" They yells.
I grin.
"Pearly white teeth." Tobias says and he kisses me.
"Let's go dance!" I say and we run to the dance floor.
Everyone leaves except for the gang.
"Let's have a little truth or dare action." Uriah says.
We nod and sit in a circle.
"I will go first." Zeke says.
"Uriah, truth or dare?
"Dare. I ain't no pansycake."
"I dare you to drink anything Tris makes you."
I grin evilly.
"Fine. But I am coming, I don't want her to kill me." He says.
I put my hand over my heart in mock surrender.
We walk to the kitchen and start putting things in a blender.

Melted Cheese
Grapes
Raw Shrimp
Potato Chips
Apple slices
Cinnamon
Ice Cream
Syrup
Sour Cream
Whip Cream
I put on the blender and pour the contents into a cup.
I give it to him an he drinks the whole thing.
Seconds later he runs to the bathroom to throw up.
I got the whole thing on tape.
I show it to our friends and they laugh.
"Lynn. Truth or Dare?" Uriah asks.
"Dare."
"I dare you to run outside, screaming
'I'VE FALLEN AND I CAN'T UP!'"
"Fine."
She does it and we all watch laughing our asses off.
"Marlene. Truth or Dare?"
"Dare."
"Kiss every girl in the room you would date if you were a lesbian."
"On the cheek?"
"Kay."
She kisses Christina and me.
"Shauna. T or D?"
"Truth."
"What's the biggest lie you ever told Zeke and why?"
"What's the penalty?"
"Take off one piece of clothing excluding shoes or socks."
"Fine. I can't go to the movies with you I am sick. I told him that because I was with Marlene."
"Tris. Truth or Dare?"
"Truth."
"How many guys have you been with before Four?"
"Zero."
She gives me an idea.
"Four. Truth or Dare?"
"Truth."
"How many girls have you been with before me?"
"Hmm. Let's start with the A's. Ashley, Aqua, Amelia, Annabel, Amy, Asia, Ameria, Ava, Tamera--"
"Dude. That's a T." Zeke says.
"Yes but she was A fox." Tobias says.
I look at him.
"Sorry!" He says.
"Mmmhmm." I say.
"You asked the question!"
"I didn't expect you to date the whole planet!"
"Come on. Just forget about them or their pretty hair and full lips and big.." He realizes what he is saying.
"I mean--"
"Save it for Tamera."
I walk out, Christina and the girls right behind me.
I stop by the store and buy two tubs of ice cream.
I go home and change into my PJs, grab my ice cream, and watch chick flicks with the girls.
I have been eating my ice cream for an hour.
"Tris. Baby Girl, you can't drown your relationship in ice cream." Christina says.
"I can if I try."
They fall asleep. But I am awake, thinking about how Tobias will make me come back to him. He always does.
Maybe that's why I get mad at him all the time. To see him win me back. But I really do love it when he does. I feel like I need him. I am drowning in water and he is my air.
I love his spare upper lip, full lower lip.
His sexy smirk. His brown hair. His muscles. His deep, dreamy, ocean blue eyes.
Then I fall asleep.
