Chapter 21

Tris POV:
I wake up the next morning in Tobias's arms, and Crystal in my arms. I get up slowly. Careful not to wake up Crystal or Tobias. I then put Crystal in Tobias's arm. I see him pull Crystal closer to his chest, but I ignore it. I look through my closet, today it's gonna be extremely hot. So I grab my denim short, my gray crop top, and my gray converses. I take a cold shower, get dressed, put on my designer glasses, put on some lip gloss, and put my hair into a high pony tail.
I walk out the bathroom and see Tobias climb back through my window.
He grins.
"Hello Princess." He says.
"When did you...Nevermind. Kelly will be here any minute. And I have to pay her."
"How much do you owe her?"
"$110."
"I'll pay for you."
"No it's ok."
"Tris she is my daughter too. I can help out with these things."
I sigh in defeat, then I here a knock at the door, and Tobias opens it.
"Hi, you must be Kelly. I am Crystal's dad." he says.
"Nice to meet you." she replies and they shake hands. He pulls out his wallet and hand her the money.
"Bye Kelly. I will be a little late. Bye Crystal." I say as I walk to school with Tobias.
We see the school building in front of us.
I see the Christina and I run up to her.
"So I was thinking I should join cheerleading." I say to her.
"Me too. But wh--" She trails off an then realization hits her.
"Ohhh!" she says. I blush and take off to class.
The rest day of the day is a blur.

"Ok girls. Cheerleading tryouts are beginning." Rochelle says.
I zone out until it's my turn.
"Tris! You're up." she says.
I walk up to the front. I start of with a handspring, then double handsprings, then I do a backflip and end with a split. I was the last person.
"Ok the list for the people who made the team is up."

I squeal with Christina.
Then I am handed a uniform.
It's a tight black and blue shirt that says Crows stops under my chest, a black and blue short skirt, a black and blue bow, and black converses with blue laces. We change into them.
Then I we walked on the football field to practice. Then I see Tobias and the other guys on the other half of the football field.
He winks at me and I blush.
But cheer practice is nothing but fun.

"Omigosh Christina did you hear they're having a Winterball!" I exclaim.
"Yes! We need to go buy dresses."
"If we have guys to go with." I snort.
Then Will and Tobias walk over.
"Tris and Christina will you do us the honor and come to the Winterball with us." they ask us as they pull out roses.
"Yes!" we scream in unison.
"Ok, now we can go dress shopping." I say.
We run to the mall in our cheer uniforms. I see all the boys staring at us and I yell, "TAKEN!"
All the boys moan and we giggle.
We go to the dress store and I buy a snow light blue dress that trails the floor. And Chrissy has a light pink dress that stops mid thigh. Then we go to the shoe store, I buy the same color shoes as my dress and the same with Christina.
I drop Christina home and go home. Kelly leaves.
I put on the Sprout channel for Crystal and do my homework.
"Hey Princess." I hear Tobias say.
"Hey."
"What's up?"
"Homework."
He picks up Crystal and she begins to laugh.
"Bubbles. Peek-a-boo!" he says. She starts laughing.
We call her Bubbles because she loves bubble baths.
"I am so tired. Let's go to bed."
