Chapter 47

Four POV:
"Ugh. I did it again." I say.
"Oops I did it again, I played with your heart-" Uriah starts singing but I cut him off with a death glare.
"Hey I didn't bring up Tamera." He says.
I really like Tris but I keep screwing things up. I think we need some time to think.
I text her.
Hey Tris listen I think we need a break-4
What do u mean-T
Just sometime to think-4
Oh-T
U ok-4
Yea... I g2g-T
C ya-4

Something tells me she is not alright.

It's 4:00am but I am eating ice cream like no tomorrow.
I put on black jeggings, purple hoody, and purple converses and I walk out of the house.
I walk to the park and sit there.
"Hey Tris." Luke says.
"Hey Luke."
"What's wrong?"
"How did you know something was wrong?"
"Well for starters, you are in the park 4:00am in the morning."
"Well Four thought we needed a little break. Just sometime to, you know, think. And I am not taking it very well."
"Maybe he's right. You both just need sometime to think."
"I wish someone had told me before I ate all that ice cream."
We both laugh. I lean on his shoulder.
"You're easy to talk to you know?" I say.
"You mean like a bed of nails?"
"Yea." I laugh.
I look at his eyes.
I never noticed his eyes were electric blue.
"You're eyes are beautiful." He says to me.
I blush and laugh. I start to get sleepy
"Well I think we should go. I will carry you." He says.
I hesitate but them my knees start to buckle and he catches me before I fall.
He helps me back to my house.
"Thanks Luke. Maybe your not so bad." I say.
I kiss cheek in a friendly manner and he leaves.
I soon fall asleep.

"He really sent?" Christina asks me.
"Yea." I reply.
"Wow."
"I know."
"Need a hug?"
"I do."
She gives me this big bear hug. We are at the park with Bubbles, Serenity, and Avalanche (Christina's puppy) playing together.
I start playing with them. Luke walks up to us.
"Hey Tris and Christina." He says.
"Hey Luke." We say in unison.
"Who's this?" He says swatting down to meet Bubbles.
"This is Crystal but we call her Bubbles." I say. "These two pups are Serenity and Avalanche."
He smiles.
"Who wants ice cream?" He asks.
Christina and I hands shoot up.
"We do!" We shout and laugh.
We walk over to the ice cream truck.
Christina got an ice cream sandwich, I got chocolate ice cream in a cup, Bubbles got cookie dough, and Luke got vanilla on a cone.
I giggle as Luke finishes his ice cream. It's all over his mouth. I grab a napkin and wipe his mouth.
Christina nudges me and I see Four.
"Thanks for the ice cream Luke but we have to go." I say.
"Let me at least get a hug." He says.
I hug him but then I bump into Tobias.
"F-Four. I was just...um...you know...I'm sorry." I say. I pick up Crystal and walk away quickly holding Serenity's leash.
When I get home I put Bubbles to bed and start making dinner for four when I forget that Tobias isn't coming.
I sigh loudly.
I get a text message.

Can I come ova? We need to talk-4

Seconds later I hear a knock at the door.
"Hey Toby."
"Hey Trissy."
"Don't call me that!"
"Awww."
I giggle.
"Come on and help me set the dang table." I say.
"Ok."
"Good boy."
"Mmmm...Whatever you made smells good."
"Of course. I thought that you would know that."
"I should have."
He sets the table and I put the food on the plates. It's chicken and dauntless cake.
"Anna! Bring Bubbles down! Its time to eat!" I yell.
"Coming!" She yells back.
She walks down holding Bubbles.
"Hey Four." She says.
"Hey Anna. Can I hold Bubbles?"
She nods her head and give her to him.
They sit down and we eat.
Anna and Bubbles go to sleep and it's just me and Tobias.
"I never got to give this back to you." he says slipping the promise ring on my finger.
"Does that mean..."
He cuts me off by kissing me. We break apart and I must look lovestruck because he chuckles.
"Did that answer your question?" He asks me.
I nod my head.
"Yes, yes it did." I say and kiss him again.
I pull back.
"You're my air. I need you to breath." He says.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
"I love you, three."
"I love you, Four."

We sit down and I fall asleep in Tobias's arm.
