she writes the pain she's felt
the pain you caused
with a blade to her skin
and blood stained gauze.she slices her skin
with the hatred she has
no longer towards you
but to the reflection of the glass.she smokes that blunt trying to forget
she drinks the alcohol to escape reality
but no matter the drugs and the pills
the memories are there permanently.shes distraught
she's in tears
she wanted you
you left her and disappeared.so when you find out she's no longer here, don't pretend as if you cared
don't speak at her funeral as if you were close, and most of all?
don't you dare say you were always there.
