Prisoner of The Dark Sign

Chapter 5

Kalin's Pov

I looked down at Crystal. I was walking down the hall, after my run in with Yusei, on my way to Crystal's cell to take over for Devack and now I'm in the hall with her out of her cell. 

How did she even get out of her cell?

"There you are!" 

I looked up and saw a very mad Devack standing there. Crystal glared at him and he grabbed her arm. He grabbed the other and he dragged her past her old cell and down to the absolute darkest cell we have here. 

He tossed her in and held out his hand and his dark sign glowed and I watched as chains came out from the wall and wrap around her arms. They started at her elbows and went to her wrists. Then they pulled her arms behind her and wrapped so her arms were behind her. 

They pulled and pulled until she was an inch from the wall. She pulled on her chains and glared at Devack and me. There was something in me.....I don't know what it was, but it was there and I didn't know what it was telling me. And I really didn't want to find out either. 

"Let's see you get out of that, girl." Devack sneered at her. 

She looked at him and Devack turned to me and he said "I will leave her in your care. See you at the meeting."

I gave a nod and he walked off.

I looked at her and she said in a low voice "You're lucky I can't smack you right now."

I chuckled and said "Still angry about that kiss."

She scoffed and said "If you called that a kiss."

I smiled and I said "I will be back tomorrow."

"You shouldn't have even came back." She sneered at me.

I looked at her and I turned and played chain shocker as I walked out of the hallway. Her cry of pain echoed through the hall. A smile slowly crawled onto my face. Though that thing I felt before pinged inside me and I felt it. But decided to ignore it again.

I walked to the meeting place and everyone sat at the table. I took my seat and looked at everyone.

"Kalin. I trust you were successful in your goal?" Rowan asked me.

"No. I almost destroyed Yusei but then his duel runner's front wheel gave out and he crashed!" I said with my laugh. 

Rowan smiled and I said "But I still have full intentions to finish what I started."

"Any other news?" He asked.

"Yes," Devack said. "Our little prisoner almost escaped." 

"Did she now?" Rowan said with a frown. "I think I will take tonight and have a little.....chat with her." 

I smiled at that a little but knew it didn't sound good. 

Crystal's Pov

Darkness.

That's all that this cell was. Nothing but darkness. It was darker than the last cell I was in that's for sure. But I don't know what they hope to accomplish by putting me in here. 

"Well, well. Look whose in our special cell." I looked up and Rowan smiled and said "Our little prisoner who tried to escape." 

I said nothing and I glared at him through the darkness. 

"I'd tell you to go away but I know that is a waste of my breath." I said.

He chuckled, which only pissed me of even more. 

"I see Devack put new chains on you. And has put you in our very special cell." He said.

I glared at him and he said "I believe that we are almost done here. After tomorrow, you will be left alone and your chain will be programmed to shock you at least twice a day."

Oh goodie. 

After a while I said "What? That's it? Nothing else to say. And here I thought you were better than that."

He frowned and said "I will teach you to speak to me in that tone." 

He took out his duel disk and his set of torture cards. My eyes widened when I saw a certain card.

Akiza's Pov  

I woke up from a very weird dream. I had a dream where a girl looked at me with a blank expression. Her hand jerked back and she looked back and brought her hand forward and she stared at it. On it was a chain, and there were chains on her ankles too.

She frowned at them and looked as if she had see them before and they were nothing new to her. She pulled on them when they pulled back.

Something had told me that I had to save her. But in my dream, my legs wouldn't move, and she was pulled into the darkness and everywhere around me was dark and purple fire was everywhere.

Did that mean she's with a Dark Singer? Am I suppose to save her? Who was she?

I need to think about this more. Maybe I'm missing something. But so many questions were swimming around my head. Like why was she in chains? She must be a prisoner of some sort, because that would explain the chains on her wrists and ankles.

Maybe I should talk to Yusei about this......or maybe Sayder.
