Chapter 28

Jack's Pov

"You did what to me?!!" I yelled.

She frowned and looked very annoyed and said "I simply used Sleeping Rose dust on you."

"What on earth for?!" I yelled.

"Will you cut it out with the yelling?!" She snapped.

I frowned and she said "I did it because you've been looking for Crystal non stop and you needed to sleep or you could have hurt yourself."

"I would not have." I snapped.

"Yes you would have." She snapped back. "And what good are you to her if you got yourself hurt and possibly killed?"

I frowned and said nothing. I knew she was right. I'm no good to Crystal if I'm hurt or dead. I sighed and I knew she was right but I wasn't about to tell her that.

"Let's get going." I said.

I walked out the door and Yusei, Crow and I got onto our duel runners and Mina and Akiza got into a sector security suv. We all took off in different directions and continued our search for Crystal. 

Crystal's Pov

"Ladies first" The man named Clyde said with a grin.

I smiled and said "How gentleman like of you."

I drew a card and I said "I start off by playing the trap card Goddess ability! This card allows me to summon out two monsters to my feild. So welcome out Venomous Snake and The Basilisk!!"

They came to the feild and Alex said "Whoa."

I smiled and I said "Now with the help of Venomous Snake's special ability, I fuse Venomous Snake with The Basilisk and syncro summon, Dark King Hydra!"

Clyde and Sean looked at Dark King Hydra in shock and fear. Then the two of them glared at me and I smiled and said "I play two face downs and end my turn."

"My turn." Alex said. "And I play a old classic of mine. Welcome out Dark Magician!" 

Neat. 

"Where'd you get that card, Alex?" Sean sneered.

Alex smirked and he said "Oh you could say I've had it passed down through many generations." (A/N: hint hint there)

"I am also going to play the spell card, Magic staff. Which protects me from any attacks for the next two turns." Alex grinned and said "I place one card face down and end my turn."

Clyde smiled and he said "I'll make my move with a trap card. I play electric charge. This card allows me to bring out a monster of my choosing and I choose WattGiraffe. And using WattGiraffe's special ability, I can use the spell card Electric chain."

"And with the chard Electric chain, I can choose an opponent. That opponent will be attached with a chain that electrocutes them once per turn until this duel is over. And since Alex is protected by his card, the chain is attached to you, girl." He explained.

What?!

My eyes widened as a chain sprung from the card and wrapped around my arm. It tightened and I felt it jerk a little. I pulled back and glared at Clyde. 

An electrical shock came and I cried out.

"Crystal!" Alex cried. 

"Now go WattGiraffe. Take out a part of Crystal's life points!" Clyde said.

I looked up and I smiled and I said "Not so fast. I play one of Dark Hydra's special abilities! By getting rid of one of my face downs, I don't take damage from your WattGiraffe."

Clyde frowned and Sean said "Looks like it's my turn. I call Leon the lion to the feild in defense mode. I also call Hawkix to the feild. I than place one card face down and end my turn.

"My turn then. And I'll kick it off with using Dark King Hydra's special ability, which allows me to either attack one opponent twice or two opponents once." I said.

"What?!" They both said at the same time.

I thrusted out my hand and I said "Go Dark King Hydra! Take a bite out of Clyde and Sean's life points!"

Dark King Hydra attacked them both and sent them flying a bit. I blinked in surprise and watched as they slowly got to their feet.

"Figures." Sean growled. "She's a physic duelist. Her attacks will hurt more."

"That's right. I now call Tree Nymph in attack mode. And since I played Tree nymph I can activate her ability and summon another Nymph. So I summon Water Nymph to the field." 

I smiled and said "And it gets better. I tune Tree Nymph with Water Nymph and I summon Queen of The Nymphs. I now place one card face down and end my turn."

"Nicely done, Crystal." Alex said.

I smiled and he looked at Sean and Clyde and he said "I know call out Majestic Harpie! And with using his special ability I can deal out 600 points of direct damage and launch an attack."

"So go Majestic Harpie! Attack Leon the Lion and deal out 600 direct damage to Sean!" Alex called.

The attack took Sean down to 50 and left Clyde with 1200. 

Sean glared at me and he said "You'll pay for that Alex."

"Promise?" Alex smirked. "I play my face down. Witch's furry! This card allows me to not only take one of you out by sacrificing 1000 life points but also allow me to reverse the order and give Crystal another turn."

"No! That can't be!!!" Clyde cried.

I smiled and watched as Sean's life points went to zero and Alex said "Want to finish this off?"

"Glad to. You two sure picked the wrong day to pick a fight with a signer." I saw a card glowing in my deck and I picked it and gasped as something in me clicked and a circle of strong wind blew around me. 

Call me crazy but I think my physic powers unblocked my mind and I now remember.

"Whoa! Wha......What's going on?!" Clyde stuttered.

I looked at him and I said "I'll tell you what's going on. You ticked off a physic duelist who just so happens to be a signer. And now you will pay for it. I play the card Goddess's gift. This card gives my Queen of The Nymphs a power boost."

It pretty much doubled the attack points and I thrusted out my hand I said "Go Queen of The Nymphs and finish this duel!"

And that is just what she did. I looked at my arm and saw its glow fade and I smiled. Alex stood there with a shocked look and I looked at him. He smiled and ran his hand through his hair.

"Nice dueling there. I take it you remember everything now?" He asked. 

I nodded and we walked back into his apartment and he said "I see. Well, it's almost night so we'll have to figure things out in the morning."

I nodded and I walked to the couch and I laid down. Alex had said something about going out to pick up something and I waved him of sleepily and drifted off to sleep.

I woke to find Alex was not back yet. I sat up and stretched and I stood and I walked over to the window and I looked out it and watched the sun rise. Sun rises sure were pretty.

I went still when a voice behind me spoke. 

"Crystal" It said softly.

I turned around only to be met with a strong chest and strong arms wrap around me. Tears were streaming down my face as I wrapped my arms around a waist. 

I knew exactly who it was. 

"Jack." I said softly.
