Chapter 26

??'s Pov

Here I was. Walking around and a bright light appeared in front of me. 

Weird right?

Anyways. As I was saying. I was walking when it appeared. 

I had to shield my eyes because it was so bright! I mean total blindness.

I lowered my eyes when the light faded. Laying on their side with broken black chains on their wrists and hair strewn behind the body, laid a girl. 

Dang she was hot. 

Ugh come on man!! Focus!

I stared at her with curiosity and I bent down and studied her more. Her hair was red and she had this mark on her arm. It looked like a flame. 

Huh. Wonder where she got that done.

She wore a black strapless shirt and jeans. And wore brown knee high boots. 

I looked around and no one else was around. So I gently put my arms under her and lifted her up,and stood up, holding her in my arms.  

I walked over to my duel runner and placed her so her back was against my chest and making sure she was not going to fall off. Then I drove back to my place. It was a small apartment. And may I remind you that it's rundown.

And being the brilliant mind that I am. I managed to get my own power in the apartment. 

I laid her down on the couch and placed pillows behind her head and back so she was at least comfortable. 

I don't know when she will wake up but I have a lot of questions to ask her when she wakes up. 

Jack's Pov

"Jack. You have to rest. Staying up this late looking for Crystal isn't good for you." Yusei's voice came from the screen on my duel runner. 

"You don't understand." I mumbled. 

I was tired. Exhausted even. 

But I had to continue. I couldn't waste time sleeping. I can't give up like I did last time. 

No.

I'll keep looking. And this time I will not stop until I find her. I needed to find her. I needed to know that she was ok. That she was alive. 

Aw who am I kidding?

I know that from what Goodwin had done to her, she isn't ok at all.  She's in a lot of pain and I'm not there for her. It's just like before. But this time will be different. This time I'll find her and I'll protect her. No matter what.

"I can't lose her again. I can't make the same mistakes as before." I said. 

"Alright but at least let me and Crow look for her too." Yusei said.

I smirked and said "If that's what you want to do then fine."

I'm coming for you Crystal. And not even the crimson dragon can stop me.

Crystal's Pov

Pounding. 

Pain.

More pounding. 

Oh my head hurts and so does the rest of me too.

A cold cloth. 

Huh?

I slowly opened my eyes and I blinked a couple of times. My blurry vision went away and I saw I was in this room, on a couch. Though I have to be honest, it looked a little rundown. The wallpaper was peeling and the carpet was dirty. 

But the lights were working. 

I blinked in confusion and sat up only to feel a shot of pain shoot up me. I grunted and I brought up my arm and touched my pounding head. My wrist caught my attention I looked at it. There were bruises and cuts on it. And the same with my other wrist.

What........happened to me?

Where am I?

Something on my arm caught my attention and I saw a mark of a flame. 

What is this and how did it get on my arm?

I removed the cloth from my forehead and I sat up more, ignoring the shot of pain. 

Why was I in pain?

Something weird was going on and I wanted to know what that something was. 

"Hey. You're awake."

I looked to the new voice and saw a guy with blue hair standing there. A smirk formed on his face and I blinked in confusion.

"The name's Alex. We have a lot to talk about."
