"That would be ₩2090," Jungkook said, putting the steaming cup of coffee on the counter in front of him. The woman handed him the money quickly and took the drink, making the steam above it dance in the sky at the movement. Jungkook muttered thanks and put the money in his wallet like it was second nature, which it probably was at this point.

Daniel wasn't lying when he said he was expecting way more people than normal. The 'show' his boss talked about on the phone was apparently some type of festival not too far away, nothing too big but enough to draw more people than usual. The coffee shop had been crowded the entire afternoon seeing as it was also a lunchroom. As soon as someone would stand up and leave the next person would take their place.

There weren't many people to handle the business either. The staff consisted of just Jungkook, Daniel and a girl studying at the same university as him called Lisa. Other than that there was only one chef called Jin. Jungkook didn't know a lot about him other than that he studied cooking for a while and was now studying something else. At least they were all hardworking. It wasn't like they could expect much more since the business was just starting out and Daniel didn't have a lot of funds for staff.

Luckily there was now also Jimin who helped out, even though no one could see him. He would make sure that all the machines were still working and that nothing was overcooking. Daniel was slightly surprised however when he saw that the coffee machine was turning on and off without anybody touching it, he thought it was just a mechanical fault because it was being used so much today, sighing when he realised it might actually be broken. That was enough for Jungkook to tell his guardian to stay still for a second.

Slowly but surely the end of the day came into sight. The sun disappeared behind the tall buildings draping the street in complete darkness. Only the dimmed lanterns showed the way throughout the city. The last customer walked out of the door, leaving behind some money on the table. The bell on the door sounded as it opened and closed again, afterwards covering the empty cafe is silence.

Jungkook breathed out and leaned against the counter. The day was finally over. He could go home and relax. The presentation he did that afternoon had already completely drained him, even though Jimin got him out of his panic attack quite quickly. He desperately needed to get some sleep and let his thoughts rest. He would figure out what to do with his homework the next morning.

"Jungkook, could you close down the place and clean? I really need to go," Lisa said, taking her coat and draping it over her arms.

"Where?" Jungkook asked, noticing the slight blush on her cheeks and the small smile adorning her face. Her phone beeped causing Lisa to look down at the device. The woman's smile widened when unlocked it and read the message.

"Do you have a date or something? What's his name?" Jungkook asked, leaning forward on the counter. He put his chin on the palm of his hand and silently waited for an answer. She looked up from her phone, shoving it back in her pocket.

"Her name is Jennie. And for your interest, it's not a date, we're just friends," Lisa said, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear. Her voice almost sounded slightly sad, but not sad enough to make Jungkook believe there was nothing going on between them.

"Not yet," he smirked. Lisa leaned over the counter and punched his shoulder with a smile on her face. Jungkook acted as if he was hurt, rubbing his invisible bruise.

"Oh, shut up," she said. "So, are you alright with closing down on your own?" she asked again. Jungkook just simply nodded. That was enough to make Lisa smile and walk towards the door, putting on her coat. Her hair swayed behind her in an elegant manner.
