"Anything?" Jungkook asked. The elder angel just sighed putting down another book.

"Nothing," he answered with a disappointed tone.

The two were surrounded by a large pile of books. Some were heavy, some were small, some were old and others were brand new, all had one thing in common; they were completely useless. After hours of rummaging through books, searching through library after library, they had concluded that most information about angels was completely false.

After a few more days the mark still wasn't working. Jungkook had a panic attack on the bus to the university and Jimin hadn't felt a thing. After that, they decided that they should figure out a different way for Jimin to keep track of the human or at least protect him. Especially now that Jimin was constantly disappearing to Heaven. The tension between them still high since their last conversation about the topic. Jungkook decided not to ask again and just read through as many books at the angel ordered him to.

Jimin still didn't know why the mark wasn't working as it should. Never before had a mark acted as it had now. At first, he just guessed that because Jungkook was a bit different than most humans maybe the mark needed to settle in for a bit longer. He turned out to be wrong. Even now the angel still couldn't feel him. It only strengthened his curiosity towards the younger and what he truly was capable of beyond seeing angels and demons. But that all had no place in what they had to figure out now.

"Which one are you reading?" Jimin asked, looking at the book in Jungkook's hands. It looked familiar and he didn't want to waste the younger's time by letting him search in a book that he had already found was useless.

"Must be a familiar book to you, it's the Bible. I read it before when I was young, but I thought I should probably refresh my knowledge considering the current situation," Jungkook said, focussing on the tiny letters again. Jimin just chuckled.

"What?" Jungkook asked, feeling a smile creep on his face by hearing the sound.

"Humans are so smart. You make cellphones, civilisations and the Internet and still you think that a book written by a human is close to the word of God. Ninety per cent of what is in that book is complete nonsense, just thought you were ought to know," Jimin announced. "I read through it the other day while you were sleeping and there isn't much in there worth your consideration."

"Then what did happen? Because God exists, right?" Jungkook asked, putting down the paper in his hands. Jimin nodded. "So if everything in the Bible isn't real, how did he really create everything?"

"Well, God has always been there. He is like the main drive of the universe, almost like the Sun is to the Earth. Something so great and powerful that you cannot imagine it with your wildest fantasies yet you depend on it every day," Jimin explained. Jungkook felt entranced by his words. "He has made many universes, many planets, he created everything."

"Even Heaven and Hell?" Jungkook asked, leaning his head against the wall, letting his mind wander for a bit. Jimin just shook his head.

"He didn't create Heaven, that is just the place in his mind that has always been there. He did not create an Adam and Eve as most people tend to believe either. He created the planet Earth as science claims, with a big bang, and guided everything since then. He guides everyone through their lives, shaping them as they go along," Jimin explained. The human couldn't help but feel melancholic as he realised this was almost like the bedtime stories he grew up with.

"And what about Jesus and Mohammed, and all the other prophets?" Jungkook asked, furrowing his brow.

"All religions are the same. You believe in a God, multiple Gods that all have one specific task or something guiding you through life or any type of higher power, either you always believe in a good force that has total control yet it sets you free and serves you with love, that's what God is. All those prophets were just people who were caught on their ideas and who were good at telling stories," Jimin explained.
