So, that was it then. Three years of hard work and I've finally finished this book. Not gonna lie, I'm really glad about how it turned out! And just like with my other stories I always make one special chapter where I give you some extra explanations, notes and fun facts about the making of this book. You also get the chance to give me feedback which is something I'd really appreciate.

But first of all, the sequel. It will be called Straight to Hell and the intro will be uploaded soon. I have been working on the storyline for quite some time now and I felt that it was time I announced its existence. Here's the summary:

❝All that he invested in, goes straight to hell.❞
It has been a year since Jungkook reached the fullest of his abilities and destroyed Hell. Ever since, demons have been roaming around without orders and more and more angels have started to fall. It seems both parties are out for Jungkook, wanting him to help them defeat their final enemy: God.

I hope you're as excited about this as I am and I hope I'll see you when the sequel drops. But first, additional notes and things you might find interesting.

❝Notes❞

⊗ When I got the idea for this story it was originally only Suga's storyline. I figured out it wasn't enough as a story by itself but that it was perfectly fit for a background story. That's how I made the rest of the storyline and characters. I still wanted Yoongi's story to play a big part in this story though as it does now.

⊗ I had the idea for this story on the way back from a skiing trip in Austria with my family a couple of years ago. I guess staring out of the window for about 12 hours back to back does something with your brain lol.

⊗ I had the idea to make Jungkook, Taehyung, Namjoon, Jin and some others play the midnight man game at the party. That would then let the demons in and have the same effects as the attack. There were a couple of problems however because none of the characters was stupid enough to actually do that.

⊗ In some of my drafts, Taehyung wasn't possessed from the beginning on. He got possessed at the party and because one of the demons pushed him out of the way Jungkook and Jimin just thought that his minor character changes were because of a slight concussion. I figured out however that both Jungkook and Jimin would immediately feel it that day because the demon can't start using angel blood the second he enters Taehyung's body. And it wouldn't explain why the demon kept his hands off Jungkook and Taehyung during their first date.

⊗ At first, the mark was supposed to be like a keychain or a necklace. But I figured that was done too often and it would make the cliché of the necklace breaking very tempting to me. Plus the mark gave me the opportunity to tease Jungkook's true form without making plotholes. Because a necklace is an object with its own energy so it doesn't get affected by who Jungkook was necessarily, meanwhile the mark is actually part of Jungkook or at least latches onto him.

⊗ This chain was also supposed to be the thing that made Jungkook see Jimin when invisible. I had the idea to break the chain during the party which would show Jimin. Namjoon would then find out about everything that had happened to Jungkook. But that would mean that Namjoon would be in danger as well but still not strong enough to actually help them so he would just be this extra character for one chapter without his own storyline and I didn't want that. And the idea of the invisibility being connected purely to the chain was too obscure.

⊗ All BTS characters are LGBT in this book. I'm sorry for the lack of diversity.

⊗ I had a lot of different ideas about what Hell should be like. At some point I thought of a maze filled with fears and Jungkook would be on the other side. Eventually, I decided that the cold darkness was a bit more fitting.
