Chapter 28

Perries POV

I sit next to Jade on the sofa, the whole team gathered around us. I look at Jade and she nods. "Me and Jade have something to tell you", I say before crashing my lips against her plump ones. She wraps her arms around my neck and i rub her back gently. I hear hushed whispers around us, but I get lost in the moment. It just feels so right, everyone knowing. One of my hands moves and cups her cheek, rubbing her soft, tanned skin. I'm bought back to reality when Jade pulls away, her brown eyes holding a whole universe. I watch her eyes linger on mine and a small smile peak up on her lips.  I look at everyone and they all start clapping.

"I knew it!", screams Claud, and we all laugh.

"You guys are so cute!", exclaims one of the outfit designers.

I feel a smile peak up on my lips as I look at Jade who is beaming at everyone in the room.
I grab her hand and squeeze it, feeling a huge desire to pin her down on the sofa and kiss her like I'd kissed her this morning. I subscontially lean in but she looks away quickly before I can capture her lips. I look at where she's looking and see everyone still smiling at us. "Okay leave the girls to be alone now!", claps Jesy, and everyone scurries out them room, apart from the other two girls.

I see Jesy sit in front of us in another sofa and Leigh sits on the arm of our chair. "Did Simon let yous do that!", she exclaims. We both nod and smile; "We are aloud to tell our team but the fans can't find out. Atleast not yet". I look at Jade who is looking at our interlocked hands and running her other hand over mine.

Then the dreaded question escapes her lips; "What about Jed?"

I fall in to silence, looking everywhere apart from the three girls around me. "You don't know do you?", she says after the silence becomes way too long. I stay silent until she tilts my chin up, and her hazel eyes instantly roam mine for answers. There's a small frown on her lips, and there is desperation in her eyes.

"Well... I mean, no, but what is there to know. All I know he has told Simon we're a thing and they're having a meeting tomorrow". Jade takes her hand off of mine and just sits and stares at me. Her eyes burn holes in to me and I feel heat creep up my face. I desperately wait for someone to say something, or for Jade to look away. "Well I guess all we can do is wait and see what happens after the meeting tomorrow". Jades eyes dart away from me and look at Leigh-Anne. "Shut the fuck up, you probably know exactly what he's going to say", she spits at Leigh-Anne, looking over me. I feel my eyes widen and I push Jade back down in her seat gently. I see Leigh-Anne get caught off guard by the sudden outburst and she stands up. "Jade, let it go", I mumble.

"No Perrie, I won't fucking let it go". She says, looking at me in disgust. I feel a lump form in my throat. "What did you say to Jed?", she says, each word louder than the one before.

"No-nothing", stammers Leigh-Anne, tears starting to stream down her face.

"If it's nothing you'll tell me then won't you". Jade rises and I try to stop her by grabbing hold of her waist, but she sends me a death glare and I snatch my hands away.

I see Leigh-Anne look at me warily and I mouth "tell her". I know that Jade will be madder if she doesn't find out, and I don't want to witness that after the way she just looked at me, and i'm personally intrigued.

I watch Leigh step back slightly before stammering; "D-don't be mad". Jade scoffs; "Just say it".

"I-I told him that you loved Perrie, and that he should back off". Every word got quieter.

"Why the fuck would you go and make things worse. Saying shit like that will just make him mad. You're the reason he said all that to me at the cafe". I stand up urgently and place my hands on Jades hips as she gets alarmingly close to Leigh. I feel her lean in to me but the tension in her body is still there. I run my hands up and down her hips while saying; "She just wanted to help babe".

"I'm sorry Jade", sobs Leigh.

I feel Jade hesitate a few seconds before slapping one of my hands away and storming out the room, slamming the door loudly. I am left gobsmacked and slump down in to the sofa. "I've ruined everything", bails Leigh-Anne. Jesy stands up and wraps her arms around Leigh-Anne. "I even made Jade mad at Perrie", she sobs. I stand and pull Leighs shoulders. "She's just upset. Once she's calmed down she'll see what you did is the right thing", I say, trying to convince myself that that will be the case. I see her smile slightly before pulling me in to a hug.

"You should go talk to her Pez. You're the only one that can calm her down when she's in such a state", says Jesy. I feel fear build up inside me picturing the way she glared at me and the way she slapped my hand. I sigh and Jesy smiles at me reassuringly. I take a deep breath before taking a warry step in to the hall. I walk down the single hall and turn the corner to reveal Jade, sitting against the wall, her head in her knees. The tight material of her outfit is clinging to her body. I walk slowly and sit next to her.

"Go away Leigh-Anne", she mumbles in to her legs.

"It's me Jade", I say simply.

"Please leave", she says a little louder. I try not to let my heart chip at her stern tone. "We need to talk about this", I say, equally as stern.

She looks up to reveal smudged black makeup around her eyes, that are now red and puffy. I try to run my finger under her eyes to get rid of some of it, but she moves her head away to stop me.

"I just need time alone to think", she says, looking away from me and staring at the wall.
"She was only trying to help", I say desperately. Her fiery gaze meets mine, and although the love is still there, there is a hint of annoyance. "Perrie. Leave.", she says through gritted teeth. "But Jade you can't just-".

"Fuck Perrie just leave me alone. You're not helping". I hesitate before standing up and walking away quickly. I try to stop the tears from running down my face and remember she's just annoyed. I open the door to the dressing room to reveal the two girls staring at me, and the waterfalls escape my eyes.

"Pez, she doesn't mean what she's saying, she's just annoyed", says Jesy running over to me and wrapping her arms around me. "How do you know what she said", I say pulling away. I see her go quiet before saying "we opened the door and listened".

"Just leave her like she said, give her space. She'll go to you when she's ready", says Leigh, rubbing my arm.

"She loves you Perrie, she doesn't mean it", says Claud from behind me. I spin to look behind and see Claud standing at the door. "When did you get here?", I say, wipping a tear away. "I just heard all the shouting and came over. I heard what Jade said". He pulls me in to his toned arms, and he pulls away quickly.

"We need to be on the tour bus in half an hour. It's outside", says Jesy, looking at her phone.
I think about Jade sitting outside in the hallway alone and I feel my heart shatter but I remember the way she had treated me and how mad she was. I stepped outside and peaked around the corner. She was looking at her nails, her tear stains ever more obvious now.

an; okay now i'm just going to make my chapters better and i'll just be posting when i've done writing them and i'm 100 percent happy with them! I started this chapter and the previous one last wednesday and just only perfected them, so don't expect extremely fast updates, but there will be 2-4 a week ❤︎
